A woman has to make a lot of adjustments after marriage and it's no different for our bahu's on TV. We take a look at some women who have had to face tough situation after marriage but they have not given up and continue to fight the tough times.

Gopi: The nave Gopi of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya on STAR Plus was forced to marry Ahem even though she knew that he does not love her. After marriage she had to deal with a rude husband and sister-in-law as well as dominating mother-in-law. However the biggest problem was her cousin turned sister-in-law who did not spare any opportunity to put her down and planned and plotted to get her kicked out of the Modi house. It was Gopi's courage and willingness to adjust that helped her deal with all the troubles at her in-laws place. Currently Gopi is trying her best to help solve the Modi family's problems and lend her support in every way possible.

Lol, here we are breaking our heads for the CVs to turn Gopi strong from weak and ppl think she is already a 'strong' bahu?😕 May be in their dictionary strength is the capacity to take abuse. And in our dictionary strength is the capacity to stand up for oneself.
