Heylo,

Serial Jaisa Koi Nahi today featured the top five vamps of Indian Telly. Kalawati caught the fifth spot. They showed bits of Nakku's haldi ceremony & D screaming at everyone after the FR. They mentioned her being one of the most beautiful vamp currently seen on TV.They interviewed Aashka where she says this is the first time she is playing a heavily dark character & also adds that the female protagonist is always a straight laced & innocent character so not much scope for playing around with looks & clothes but a negative person has various shades hence they can portray each shade with a different look & style. She also added that one has to be a really good person at heart to portray a complex character such as hers.

The others featured were:

1. Tapasya

2. Her Naani

3. Rasika Tai

4. Krishna's Amma

yeah kala is better (as a character/person) than tapasya and her nani as no one can beat them in their evil deeds!

To me both their hatred & need for vengeance seems so baseless. Methinks they thrive by poisoning not only the leads' lives but also their own.

Thanks for sharing.Personally i feel Kala's character is much much better than the rest four & ashka is doing a really good job.

Well Zuby,the thing is i don't find any kind of uniqueness in their evilness,not that i watch the shows.As far as Tapasya's character is concerned ,i always found it was hyped by media more rather than the show people.Whatever i have seen of her,she has that constant J expessions on her face.

In case of kala,we have always seen her in diff. moods & still maintaining her class.Very rarely,except past few epis. she has lost her cool.So,all in all ,she is the best one for me.

By the way ,who is rasika ?Never heard of her.
