I think we are in a situation where politics and other things are working against a true talent.
I think people are becoming biased and are hell bent on defeating a deserving and talented singer like Karunya.
Even the judges and comperes of the show are feeling helpless as the votes are going to Sandeep.
Infact after yesterday's episode I think sandeep is going to get a lot of sympathy votes.
Karunya is working so hard and giving such great performances but I think luck is not on his side. At the end of the day that is life, hardwork and talent alone do not garentee anything.
It is a fact that Sandeep is leading in the votes. He will be the winner most likely, if Karunya wins it will be a pleasant surprise.
As a Karu fan I am preparing myself to not expect the winner to be Karunya. I had the same feeling when the results for the top 3 were announced and that came true as sandeep was the highest vote getter.
In a recent interview it was confirmed that Sandeep was leading... so only a miracle can save Karu.
I don't mean to dissappoint any Karu fans but this is the truth. In the long run Karunya will be remembered... Everything happens for a reason... I am really glad that the country atleast supported him so far to the top 2. He is able to keep the pride of II2 by performing till the end.
Last year between Amit Sana and Abhijeet Sawant it was so hard to decide who is better so I would have been happy if either won... and that was a great competition. Now I confess that I will be dissapointed if Sandeep wins as India will loose the chance of having a gem as Indian Idol.
I like sandeep too but feel he is not up to the mark in terms of hardwork and potential. I cannot see him as a great singer!!! He does not even attempt the tough parts in the songs... I am sure if he works hard and does his riyaaz more he can get better.... But in this whole competition I have not seen him out perform himself. I was scared during the Saregama competition that Vineet may loose to Debo and that's what happened. But Debo by the end really got himself to the same level as vineet so one can be quite impressed with his effort as he proved himself worthy of the title even though he was not the strongest contender.
Sandeep is not even in sur consistently... How can someone 'not in sur' become indian idol. The judges dont even point out each time he is out of sur now as it is a norm (even though it is much better than before)
Let's have someone make a video of recaps for Sandeep's performaces and Karu's performances this whole indian idol season.
After watching that can someone still convince me on who is more deserving and hardworking?
Anyways Satya Meva Jayate... Truth will prevail if not in the short term than in the long term.
