Venue was Taj Lands End and occasion was launching of the book "Women and the Weight Loss Tamasha" by professional and nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, beautiful bebo arrived shining as ever.
Dressed in tight jeans and wearing cool glasses, Kareena kapoor opened a bit about herself and her opinion about the book. Rujuta Diwekar is pre-eminent fitness professional in this country and Kareena has been her client for a long time. Unlike her earlier work "Don't Lose your Mind Lose Your Weight", Rujuta stresses on four strategies (Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep and Relationships) in her new book.
So what's the USP of the book? Each book has a hand written note by Kareena and she has also lent her voice for the audio book. Since Kareena is a client of Rujuta and had also launched her first book, question naturally comes that which portions of book is her favorite? "I would sound selfish but the chapters which I have written. They have been published in my own hand writing. It is also the best part because I wrote it straight from the heart," was Bebo's answer.
We have all heard about Kareena's power yoga which helps her to stay fit and a number of leading ladies of Bollywood like Bipasha, Shilpa and Lara have all come out with their own DVDs of fitness, has she ever seen any of their DVDs and when is she launching her own DVD? To this question Kareena replies, "No, I don't even have time for my Yoga and I am not going to launch my own DVD because I can't endorse something which I don't fully understand."
Like her dietician, Kareena too endorses on Indian breakfast and says she likes eating rice unlike many other women. She stresses getting thinner is no big thing but having a good body with a shine on your face is the important part. You just can't miss your meal. "I eat parathas, rice, chapattis, curd and sabji all the time and Rujuta has never warned me against them," says Bebo.
