DID Doubles Update! 10th January! Mega Audition!
The episode starts off by showing images of Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata..
A voice over tells us that auditions were held in Bombay, Delhi, Kolkata and 11 other cities around the world. Over 1000 couples came to audition for the biggest dance show but only 61 couple were able to impress the judges and take the taqdeer ki topi with them and make their way to the MEGA AUDITIONS!!
Then we are taken to Jay Bhanushali who tells us from the 61 jodis were chosen only 12 will get a paankh for their taqdeer ki topi and will reach the stage for the biggest dance show ever!
We are then shown images of i'm guessing Mumbai.. trains.. participants coming out the trains and saying how they feel.. and then finally getting onto the coach on the way to the much awaited MEGA AUDITIONS!
Some are excited whilst others are nervous but one thing common in all of them is that they ALL want the paankh! they get off the coach.. excited and happy! They all look extremely joyful!
We are then taken back to Jay: he tells us that these are our 61 jodis! Who have reached the mega auditions and are ready to go in to get their choreographies!
He asks them if they are ready to which they all reply "yeah!"
He asks them if they're all ready to have a paankh attached to their taqdeer ki topi to which they all once again reply "yes!"
Jay: "Bohot zyada tayaar bhi nahi hai toh keh dateh hu under band baaj jaayi gi agar tayaar nahi hai toh (LOL) so chaloo"
and we're shown them all running inside.. in a hall wherein they all begin to dance and kinda celebrate.. lol they're having fun.. it's kinda like a lil party without the cake lol
We're then shown participants again saying how they feel.. some say how they'd only seen this on TV, now they're experiencing it for themselves and they're having great fun whilst others say that they're feeling really proud (awww.. they should be)
"kya baat! Kya baat!" lol
Then back to Jay!: he says that when these 61 couples dance together its something which everyone must see!, he says that these 61 couples now have to pass the choreography round. Each master has considered different dance styles and choreographed the dances. He says wherever a Jodi falls weak.. that Jodi will have to go home that moment 😔 from this only 30 jodis will get a chance to perform in front of the masters and grandmaster and from there we will get "humare batereen byaarah jodiyah!"
Rajiv
Audtionees are excited to see him! he says that he knows that coz they have reached here, they are India's batareen dancers, now they have to do better than this. If you do better, you will be able to reach further. He askes them if they're ready and they all reply yes! LOL he tells them to say it louder and more louder and more and more! LOL aww then he thanks them..
He them starts to teach them their hip hop choreography! 7 am in the morning! 😲
GOL GOL GOL GOLMAAL! 😳 looks fun! they all seem pretty awake! lol
Partipants are then shown saying what they thing about Rajiv.. they say that hes "solid" (LOL) and talk about the choreographyhe has set..
Rajiv is then shown pointing out to someone that they are going off beat.. and then they start again.. GOLMAL IS BACK AGAIN!
"Maza a raha hai"
Rajiv is teaching one to one aswell, trying to point out and improve the participants weaknesses there and then! 👏
He says that the choreography that he has set is pretty simple.. its important that they understand it the dance.. if not "meri lakhdi padagi" lol
Awww karan! Hes saying that Rajiv is helping him a lot coz hip hop is not his style.. we are shown a clip of Karan and Carlings audition and a voice over asks if they'll be able to do it and make the final 12 considering their style is contemporary? .. (I hope so!)
The voiceover says that some people are finding it difficult whilst others are finding it easy.. participants then give their views..
Awww we are shown a participant.. Subhojeet.. whos partner has fallen ill so couldn't make it to the mega auditions.. aww hes missing her coz the choreography was partner related and he had to do a solo.. he says he doesn't know whats gonna happen now.. hes says hes tensed about the dance and on top of that hes alone.. 😔 awww
Other participants give their views on this.. they say that they'll be with him! and he'll definitely impress the judges.. he has potential! Aww
We are then shown another Jodi.. Aurendeep and Simram who are tensed coz of one another.. they're having co ordination problems coz of a neck problem.. Simran's saying that hes feeling bad for no reason.. they're arguing.. others are telling them to leave it.. well done! Lol
Rajiv tells the participants to do whatever they do in style and in confidence.. this will look good.. "so good luck, all the best aur err.. fad dalo" aww lol the way he said it
More practicing.. participants say that it has been difficult.. others say they have learnt all the lyrics due to the practicing and have to do well for rajiv sir..
Then Jay and Rajiv talk: Jay asks how it was.. Rajiv says everyone is working hard.. they wanna see everyones dancing abilities.. Jay askes for two names who he thinks will definitely go into the top 12.. LOOl he says hes wrriten the names down coz he has problems in remembering names.. "nam ka locha hai" LOOL
He says: 1 ' Bhulum Bhulam (?) sorry and Monica 👏⭐️
And 2 ' Surya Narayan and Priyat 👏⭐️
Rajiv's Choreography round is finished..
Next Murzi.. he will teach contemporary..
Everyone is excited to see him! he says that he knows theyve been theyre since morning, (its now 12 pm) but tells them not to be scared, they can make mistakes and that hes not here to look at mistakes. He tells them if they give their 100% they will definitely go ahead..
Then he tells them he will show them the choreography and asks them to pick things up.. he tells them it is very important to observe someone when they dance as well as the style and technique they use. He says that if they do this, he is sure they will do well.. and then thanks them 😊
He calls his partners and everyone sits down to watch.. Murzi tells them that they just have to look at three things.. 1. Compatibility with partner, 2. timing.. 3. Style. He says that if you don't get the style, it okay, u just have to have the potential..
His partners then perform.. on kitna sona tehnu rub na banaya.. well that was the background music anyways.. 😳
A Jodi are shown saying that they are finding it extremely difficult even though they performed contemporary during the auditions..
Rahul is finding is easy.. he likes it because its contemporary..
Kunal and ranchit are finding it difficult, coz they do katahk
Other are also finding it difficult.. manic and dillin.. theyve never done contemporary
Basically.. most people are finding it difficult.. :|
Some are positive and pointing out the good things.. like how you will be able to find your good points through this.. some are saying they will be able to do it with practice and time..
Murzi says that they will need more time, but not to worry, what he has seen is good.. work hard.. "mehnut ka phul meetha howega" aww
Some Jodis are injured.. they're still full of courage though.. aww.. quite a lot of jodis.. hand, neck, shoulder.. they're taking medicines.. doctor! He says that he's had atleast 15 patients complaining about muscle problems.. he says hes treating them by stretching excercises and ice.. people are getting cramps.. aww yep.. well said.. life will move on
LOL "sub nach rahe hai, nach rahe hai, nach rahe hai.. and im here psshht.. tired!" aww lol
Awww participants are all tired.. sitting down whilst other have gone to sleep! They have no energy..Geeta Maa's still too goo! lol
Now Geeta Maa! We wern't even shown Murzi finishing.. lol o well..
Umm Geeta Maa.. shes gonna teach Indian classical and bollywood.. participants are awake and happy! J its 5 pm!
She asks them how they are.. they say bohot badiya.. shethen asks them bohot badhiya ya bohot bhura and asks them if they're scared.. they say no.. and she tells them that they should be a little scared.. if you have a little fear in you, your performance will be better.. because they have little time and even when they go ahead, they will have little time to prepare so its important to see how quickly they can pick up stuff. She tells them when they do the choreography.. "dil laga ka kur na, maan laga kur karna" and make all three of them happy.. she then wishes them all the very best..
Practice begins!
Participants say that picking up the steps one after the other is difficult..
Geeta says: "apne aap ko expression wise dhal do, energy wise dhal do lekin choreography ko mat badlo"
Some are finding it difficult others are saying they are teaching well so they're finding it easy to understand..
Geeta Maa says she hasn't seen the'finish' in anyone yet even though their enthusiasm is good.. she hopes they meet her umeed as well as their own and wishes them all the best..
The voice over tells us that DID is where participants get a chance to learn from such honoured masters, and get a chance to go ahead. All three master have taught their choreographies and now, for the jodis to get further than this depends on their hard work and their ability to learn quickly. The jodis who will perform the choreographies learnt today well will only get a chance to get to the top 30, the other wont.
Precap.. we are shown people making mistakes, Geeta Maa saying that shes disappointed in someones performance..
