She was the one ... the murderer.. Damini Gujral...

Prithvi Saxena with his gun still aimed at her, knew it.. He wasn't going to waver.. He was trained for such situations ... 10 years in the army ... He gave orders and followed them...

Yet now, he stood .. attempting to block out the orders of his heart...

She stood defiantly as ever ... She was physically tired ... She would have crumbled to the rain soaked ground long time ago.. but ...

She was Damini Gujral... the fighter ... She will never give HIM the satisfaction of letting him know, how scared she was ... how she wanted the ordeal to be finished .. how she wished things had been different... but maybe, at least when she dies, HE would take her in his arms again...

Her eyes softened .. She observed him.. Despite the fact, that her life was going to end soon, she almost thanked God for bringing HIM into her life...

She could never forgot the Day she saw HIM ...

HE seemed like a Greek god.. or an Italian hunk .. the kinds, she has always heard her youngest sister, Roshni drool on... Damini was no fool.. She had no time for Love .. or even lust ...

But all that went for a toss that day she saw him walking towards her ... aviators, dark blue shirt, black trousers and an attitude to boot...

She couldn't tell beyond the dark aviators ... but she felt his eyes were only on her .. and that very thought gave her chills ...

She stood still as he approached ... taking off his aviators ... with a small tilt of the head, he opened the door for her, She walked in.. prying her eyes off him with difficulty...

It was a good thing she looked away ... for Prithvi Saxena gave a small understanding smirk...

Prithvi Saxena had his own eye candy... the queen in a dazzling red saree ..

He had seen her before.. yet this vision mesmerised him yet again ..

There was something though that was irritating .. mildly he wanted to say... Inder Malhotra..

Well.. Prithvi Saxena was just using him as a pawn.. He was the ticket to get closer to his prey... Prithvi's friend, Hasan had introduced Prithvi as his business associate to Inder ...

Prithvi had played his cards well... Inder was trapped...

Now he was close.. close to Her.. so close that he could smell her sweet perfume... see the expressive eyes.. touch her cheeks.. at least he could in his mind ...

She felt his eyes on her all the time... She didnt know why Inder forced her to attend this dinner .. But he insisted after all the tortures with the business deals in the past few months.. she needed some time off..

And worse still.. her Mom had also forced her to attend this .. She was exhausted mentally .., esp the harrowing experience she had, just over a month ago ... That had changed her completely ..

She never thought that she would ever be able to pull a trigger on a person... and yet she had done just that ... And she didn't miss her target ..

She knew the person deserved it, she ...she couldn't get the visual out of her mind , .. the face haunted her all the time ... But now for a few minutes, she was lost in another face ...

And then He introduced himself .. " Hello.. I am Prithvi Saxena" ... and Damini Gujral felt as if someone had punched her in her gut ...

HE cant be a Saxena ...
