Aham kicked at empty air petulantly.
"Rose? That Jigar is getting on my nerves! Somebody, please turn him into a bad boy. He's too unrealistically nice!" he retorted to himself. Aham stopped in his tracks and surveyed the area, sighing with relief.
"Thank goodness, no one was here..."
A sudden rustle of movement made him jolt. He spun to face an anxious faced Gopi. Aham curled his fists into his palms and glared at her.
"What are you doing here? First you go into my room for no reason and now you're spying on me!?" he yelled. Gopi took a step away, her face stricken with fear.
"I-I...I-..." she stammered.
"Get out of my sight already before it's obscured!"
With that, Gopi ran down the corridor and disappeared into the darkness. The remaining lights in the Modi palace were switched off. Aham strutted into his room and closed the door behind him; his body ached for some sleep.
Yawning loudly, he hurdled into his bed, closing his eyes with a satisfied smirk.
"Goodnight, my dear."
"Goodnight," Aham responded.
What a day it has been...
Aham's eyes screwed open; he sat up hastily and looked at the source of the voice he heard. Right next to him in bed was none other than Dhawal, the additional clown of the SNS series.
"Please, go back to sleep," Dhawal grinned ludicrously. For once, Aham felt his heart rummage against his ribcage like a hammer. A dribble of sweat trickled down his temple.
Aham. Was. Frightened.
He collected his repose to hide the fear that was building up inside him and threw the clown off his bed.
"Who the hell gave you permission to come here? Get out, you peasant!" he bellowed, pointing a finger at the door. Dhawal grinned even wider.
"Oh no, Aham, I've been waiting too long for this," he said, throwing his head back and cackling like a mad man.
Aham gasped and dashed his way to the door but Dhawal caught his ankle, causing the handsome man to fall to the floor. Then, Dhawal began to drag the Modi boy back towards the bed.
"Mom! Mom!" Aham yelled. Dhawal gave another cackle.
"Do you really think that would work, Momma Boy? Eh?" he jeered.
Aham wanted to die and cry and fry this clown's fat head. Realisation hit him that his Mom wasn't coming to his aid.
"What have you done?" he hollered at the jester. Dhawal clapped his hands and smiled, baring his teeth. He tilted 180-degrees, scaring the wits out of Aham.
"W-who are you? What are you!?" Aham screamed.
"You want to know who I really am. I am Dhawal the Pagal Admi! The one who ran away from the mental hospital and acquired special powers from a genie! And Aham, I have deep affection for since I've seen you. I placed heavy sand in your relatives' eyes so that they are fast asleep. None of your screaming will work!" Dhawal roared in triumphant laughter. Adrenaline surging through his veins, Aham kicked Dhawal's jaw.
The latter yelped in agony as the Modi boy finally ran out of the room.
One thing was for sure, this would be a long night...
To be continued.

Yup, Dhawal is a complete psycho and shamefully out of character! And Aham is in big big trouble!
