I think in the case of Dutta and Nakku, I find it to be too hypocritical simply coz Dutta doesn't practice what he preaches. He basically bullies Nakku around like a piece of stuffed toy. If it was one his sisters in the same place as Nakku, he wld have killed the guy by now already.
But that's coz we have Nakku partly to be blamed if she stood up to herself and make him realize what he did was wrong and shld never be done again instead of saying it's ok u hit me n blah blah blah
Communication is the key to resolving this problem coz in most cases there isn't right communication between the couple, one talks, one listen and then the other talks, then someone else listen. In most times, the abused one keep silent and takes the beating again and again. No one can help you if you don't want to be helped.😳
It's just not the physical abuse but the mental abuse that plays a large part in effecting abused victims, they are often too scared to speak up and end up thinking they deserve to be slapped around.

I sometimes feel that Dutta is too quick to say things out, which even more hurtful than a slap. My mom always says that you can throw your words out but you can never pick them back and even if you hit a person it will heal but what you have said will remain said.

Domestic violence in any form is a serious problem with a long term effect. It should be dealt with at point blank not down the road.
