Poorva's baby was born on December 24, and has been named Anushka. "My mother-in-law takes care of Anushka when I am shooting. I have requested a day shift, from 10 am to 5 pm. I have just started and, hopefully, everything will work out fine." Why is she back so soon? "I had asked for maternity leave. It's now over and I have resumed work, like other working women do. Sunday was my first day on the Kahaani sets. The scene involved a phone call saying that Gunn is returning to the Agarwal parivar," says the actress. No weight gain Poorva has not gained much weight after her delivery. "I have put on just a little, but it is not too striking. This has enabled me to get back to shooting soon." A fortnight ago, Poorva also began shooting her Marathi serial, Bhagyavidhata, for ETV Marathi. "For the first two days, I took Anushka along with me to the studios. But as I stay in Thane, and shoots happen at different places, it is difficult to take her everywhere; she is more comfortable at home." Poorva admits that on the first few days of shooting, she kept thinking about her baby and how she would cope. "I found it difficult. Physically, I was present at the shoot, but mentally, I was with the baby. But I am beginning to get used to it and can't wait to rush home after pack-up." Marathi show Though Poorva had opted out of Kahaani in the early stages of her pregnancy, she continued to shoot for Bhagyavidhata till days before her delivery. "I shot with them till December 15 and delivered on December 24. I could manage well right till the end," she explains. Poorva is married to Kedar Gokhale who is not from the entertainment world. "I have immense support from my mother-in-law so let's see how I manage shooting for both shows, along with taking care of my three-month-old baby," she says. | |||
