Issue 2 of Scribbulus Released

The second issue of TLC's essay project, Scribbulus, is now open for perusing, and contains 12 news essays. The subjects include: Possible repercussions of Dumbledore revealing the location of the Order's headquarters to theh Dursleys, and the parallels between Muggle happenings and the International Statute of Secrecy. There's also a humourous look at why Ginny and Harry are a perfect match in, "Why Harry picked Ginny as a Romantic Partner" by Gowdie. You can discuss all these and more in our Scribbulus forum. Castwatch: New Profile of Imelda Staunton

Today's Hampstead Express features Imelda Staunton, the award-winning actress who is playing Dolores Umbridge in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The story doesn't give any new filming information, but the profile is interesting all the same.

Bloomsbury to Announce Profits

Bloomsbury, the publisher of the UK Harry Potter books, will be announcing major profits this week, according to Wales.co.uk.

"Bloomsbury has put investors on standby for profits of at least 20m, so debate in the City is focused on whether it can beat that benchmark. Six analysts suggest Bloomsbury will report pre-tax profits of 20.2m tomorrow, compared with 16.4m a year earlier.

The past year was dominated by Harry Potter &The Half-Blood Prince which beat sales expectations and heightened interest in the earlier novels. It also encouraged Bloomsbury to publish an audio book for the first time."

150+ New High-Res Goblet of Fire Images in Gallery

We've just added more than 150 new high-resolution images from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, including studio shots of the characters, to our gallery, which now has more than 20,400 pics. In addition, many of our old high-res images were replaced with higher-res images (which is why it will look like there are some you've seen before). Many of these images come from scenes not even seen in the film, many are from moments in the film we've never had a still image of, and many are images we've seen before but never in such great quality. We couldn't possibly list them all here, so visit the Hi-Res gallery as well as the Studio Shots gallery to leaf through them. Here are some of our favorites:

Rupert and Phelps twins on 'Striscia la Notizia'
