Disorganised' Uttaran producer leaves Akhil Mishra disgruntled

Akhil Mishra, who plays Umeed Singh, Veer's (Nandish Sandhu) father in Uttaran is threatening to quit the show owing to mismanagement on the sets. Akhil has already informed the production house about his decision.

Akhil says, "There is a series of issues which I have been facing everyday on the sets. They do not give us a proper schedule, when I get ready for a scene; they make me wait for hours. I stand like a fool on the sets just because my co-actors are happily chatting over the phone. It's not their mistake as the production house is disorganised. There are times when I reach the set and get to know the shooting has been cancelled for the day that too from someone else and not from the production people. Sometimes they shoot half a scene and then inform me the next day that it has been scrapped and I need to reshoot it."

Akhil mentions that because of Uttaran he had to let go two shows and two films. He claims he has been getting many good offers. Therefore he is ready to quit any moment. "Moreover, the writers of the show too are not doing their job properly; we are making up our own lines and then enacting sequences.😲They waste so much of time, they ask me for my dates and later I sit idle in my vanity van. I have been updating my producer about this situation. He has called me to discuss it but I know that this meeting will not lead to any conclusion. I refused to shoot, however they told me that tomorrow I need to come on the sets. I have had enough of it, I do not want to continue with this show anymore but the producers are pushing me to do it."

Producer Pintoo Guha was busy in a meeting and could not comment on it.

I think we did mention over here on the forum that actors are doing whatever they feel like in the scenes, looks like some of us here were indeed right about it. 😆😆😆😆

yes even i remember disscussing the same thing in the forum😆

no wonder Ichcha's dialogues used to be so short... n taps is just left screaming the same dialogues all the time... why dont they change their dualogue writers... the serial has so much to say but everything is left unsaid and in the process the audience is left so disappointed...

looking at the scenes it sure did seem like they r doing whatever they want, there is no script, no dialogue, no direction, nothing. 😆😆😆

tina's saree colour remains unchanged for a month, the wigs are horrible and a whole load of other problems. 😆
