@ Eva: You know, I never really thought about it that way. I wouldn't mind that I guess but then Pihu's married and Rudr is too. Are they both gonna ruin their marriage for something that's not meant to be? So many complications😆

Till date, the same question continues to linger in my mind, and it remains to be addressed by the CVs. They have always shown Pihu as a stubborn character, who seems confused as to what she wants. If I can remember clearly, there was a scene whereby, RR tells Rudra that it was Pihu who always made the compromise by apologizing first. So if that were the case, I fail to understand how her character could have gone for the worst as soon as a misunderstanding propped up? This eventually became the reason for the split in the bachpan ka pyar. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like a strong reason (according to me) and may have lead to many other loopholes, one of which is the portrayal of Pihu's character post marriage!

In the first place, Pihu willing to marry Abhay instead of Rudra on the fixed marriage day (which happens to be a day after their misunderstanding) was bizarre. I would have expected the marriage to be called off, but not to this extreme move! From there on many changes in decision! Not once but twice, Pihu had to rethink about her marriage! She was 'forced' to decide between her parent's reputation and her childhood love, and finally she left it to fate to decide! The sequence of events just complicated things further causing confusion over Pihu's behaviour!

Well, I remember reading the synopsis for the show, which stated that post the separation Rudra and Pihu will get married... and as Rudra falls for Gauri, Pihu enters his life again, causing further complications in the love triangle! Considering the current track, now that Pihu is married to Abhay, on the one hand she is trying to make her marriage work, while on the other hand she is brooding over Rudra! In the meantime, Gauri and Rudra are also married and are beginning to understand each other. And it looks like the CVs are ready to bring Pihu back into Rudra's life to complicate things further for Rudra and Gauri! The pace of the show bewilders me, as things are being rushed into, leading to more and more confusions around the characters! I would prefer to become familiar with the relationships before any more complications come into place!
