Where do we start about her? Beauty and looks are something that many celebrities are loved for. She is all that BUT here is one lady who is absolutely LOVED and adored for the person she is, i.e. the values, ethics and morals she holds. She is one of the most honest celebrity that one can come across. Someone who does not mind speaking up for her beliefs even if it may harm herself. Honest and straightforward are the two characteristics that define this girl in the best way. Someone who by the virtue of these characteristics has gained immense respect and love of those who are her not only her fans but those non-fans who she turned into fans and who now love her for the human being she is more than anything else!!! Which makes her fans proud to no extent<33 THANK YOU, Shona for making your fans proud always 🤗
As an actress, Shona entered our lives in 2007 as Dr. Riddhima Gupta and won a million hearts. She gave the character her heart and soul and made it rise to popularity instantly. She gave one of her best performance as Dr. Riddhima Gupta. And after 3 years, she still remains to be the one and the only Riddhima for many people. She has left a huge impact in many people's hearts by playing this character that when one associates with Riddhima, they can truly never forget Shilpa Anand ❤️❤️
Then she came as our Dr. Shilpa Malhotra in 2010. And inspite of having played the most popular part of Dill Mill Gayye as Dr. Riddhima Gupta, she still once again created magic on-screen, brought DMG alive, garnered a greater fan base, and stole our hearts once again<33 Her return speaks for itself. Is there any other actress who was loved for 2 very different characters in one show? She was part of DMG's best times (undeniable!), and not just that but she was very much responsible for those times too. Many fans left the show with her, but then all those folks came back again in June 2010 to see their favoruite weave her magic yet again...albeit in a different avatar. We loved her as Riddhima Gupta urf Basket, and we loved her as Shilpa Malhotra urf Dhanno urf Sanjeevani's Khatra. She has just proven her acting abilities time and time again, and her two very different, and yet very popular enactments on DMG are a proof of that. Is it safe to say she's a helluva good actress? I think so ;)
Apart from that she has done a few Bollywood and South movies and commercials but she's best known for her television roles. As an actress, she has given superlative performances. Her hard work and dedication is amazing. She has the extra-ordinary magic and versatility which makes fans connect to shows instantly. And the talented actress she is who gives heart winning and incredible performances, we only hope to see her back on screen with a bang very soon =)

Firstly, she's AMAZING!!! And how!!! She loves her fans just as much as they love her! She showed that by coming back to DMG just for us. That was really sweet of you Shona. Thank you so much ALWAYS for that. We shall never forget. I still remember the day I saw her along with Karan Grover in DMG on Youtube. I was stunned<3 I had fallen in love again with a TV star after 4 years literally. Someone had once again managed to grab my attention and make me a fan. No, not just a fan. A fangirl. lol. Her looks, her acting, her expressions, those eyes, the hair, the beauty, the innocence and I can just go on and on and on. Everything about her grabbed my attention. I was watching an Indian show once again after so many years. Wow. Was I surprised. And it was all thanks to Shilpa Anand and the fabulous EPIC chemistry she created along with her co-star. It was undeniable, unmatchable and PERFECT. But most of all, she held my interest the most. An ACTRESS. Doing a fabulous, fabulous job that if she was there all seemed complete in the true sense.
After that I watched her off screen interviews and I fell in love with her even more. She had such a charming, warm, sweet and just like full of life and happiness kind of a personality. Always laughing. And that laughter and the smile - the 440 volt smile<33 It was to die for<33 It would make you smile along and bring you to life if you were having a gloomy day or something. And what was even so so so nicer was to see her love, affection, caring and thankful attitude towards her fans. She never ever forgot to mention her fans and how much they mean to her and how all of us are like her angels. This was and is one of her best qualities that I admire a lot. I hope it always stays with her and I know that it will cause she's just that awesome.
The love and craze I have seen for her amongst fans is just something else. One of those rear female actress who is adored and loved by girls(guys too ofcourse =p) like they adore male leads. And it gives me so much happiness being a Shona fan that SOO many people wanna see her in shows. SO many people think she brings shows alive and adds the fun and spark to it. Shona, your fans are waiting like anything for you to come back on TV so that they have atleast something to watch on TV. Your loved that much!!! :) So, just waiting for you to come back on our TV sets and entertain once again like never before!!<3
