Hope's Take 3
So the Dirama continues. Jai Ho Tasneem.
Ok my take is going to be very short today as the epi was a continuation of yesterday and not much has happened plot wise.
1. The K Siblings – guys I hate being derogatory because character reversals happen so fast on this show but seriously when they were shouting at Manav today inside and outside the house, all I could think of was that they reminded me of my aunt's Pomeranians. They really used to scare me because they always caught me by surprise and started this uncontrollable shrill barking and prancing. When I saw Vinod today he reminded me of this Chihuahua I saw in a movie once. Mean faces to go with a vicious bark coming from the weakest looking thing you ever saw. Manjusha looked like she was holding his leash when she asked him to stop so she could talk to Manohar about Jaywant's visit.
So Vaishali is questioning Manav's self respect. The woman who was not too long ago told by her husband that she is a trophy wife and something like business is more significant to him than her and who after hearing this declaration of love 😕 proceeded to go back to her detached lover. Yes, you are the symbol of self-respect Madam. You, who with a college education, is wasting away an able body and mind playing Queen of Sheba and proving your husband's theory that you are a trophy wife. Bravo, Bravo, Bravo. Keep it up!!! A few more snide comments for the road please.
When Varsha told Manav she had lost any respect for him, she said it in a pleading manner as to say "I know no one gives a damn, but please for my sake, please care that I don't respect you? Pretty Please!" Madam, I would like you now to pay him back the respect and consideration he gave you when he picked you up from the roadside twice – once after Ashwin duped you and the other after your ENTIRE FAMILY dumped you. Yes, we understand you don't have much in this area so we are even willing to accept only the principal amount of respect with no interest. Thank You.
2. Manav – If this man keeps throwing sixers he's going to win the Ghar Jamai One Day Test Match.
- He DID NOT give any vachans to Raghu and Mustaq (Batman and Robin). YES!!!
- He humbly accepted their reference for a job and followed up on it. YES!!!
- He continued to be the considerate helpful person he was with Manohar. YES!!!
- He did not insult the Pom Sisters but maintained his cool and said his piece sensibly and as briefly as he could. YES!!!
Niki, your old Manav is back. Confirmed.
Batman and Robin looked like they wanted to bow down to him, rub his feet with their bald head and naked faces and break out into bhajans. Thank God they did not.
3. Sulo and Manohar – kept to their decision to help Archu and Manav. Understood clearly that Manav is not there because he is a freeloader but because he does not want Archu to feel a sense of abandonment in her weakened state. Seeing Sulo fuss over Archu tugs at my heart. She reminds me of both my mothers – my mom and my MIL. Tough love is a precious and strange thing. When you get it you should appreciate it.
Manohar looks sad. Don't worry hon, Kools will be back soon and she will get you that ticket your magical getaway.
In closing:
Guys, I know watching the constant battery of Manav is unpalatable but just imagine if this is bad then to counteract it how sweet must the much anticipated dish of poetic justice be. It's coming...... that's all I know. The Ghar Jamai track I think is a filler and has already served its purpose.
