This is a painfull reality. Everybody around the globe is bashing indians coz of their conservative attitude. I am so upset from the views of different people abt india. I think sony is reponsible for the disgrace of India. By introducing such type of shows like indian idol, sony has created bad image of india tht there is no unity among indian people. They dont consider themselves as a whole nation. I am very shamefull. This sony channel should b banned and indian idol should be stoped now. Alaaaaaaas

I agree SONY SHOULDN'T HAVE COPIED INDIAN IDOL FROM "AMERICAN IDOL"......THEY SHOULD HAVE COME UP WITH THE SAME SHOW, BUT WITH A DIFFERENT STYLE !!!

i thought the produce of indian idol and american idol are the same and that is the reason why they are very similar!!!!!

Pop Idol (UK) was the 1st, then it went 2 America, yeh I think the producers r still freemantle, so it is the same. 1 BIG diff is, in the UK (prob US 2) each person is only allowed 2 vote once-which obviously makes it fairer, n if that was the case with Indian Idol.......Amey (n othas) wud b there 2day. U can get anexact numba 4 votes per person 2.......jus pray II3 takes it on board.......4 sum it's 2 late... 😕

Indian Idol is not a copy of American Idol.

Its a franchise! There are Idol Shows all over the world!!

Its like Mcdonalds!! Mcdonalds is ALL OVER THE WORLD! Even in India, and Indians didnt copy mcdonalds...they franchised it

But agree, a different formula that suits India should have been made!
