Shweta Gulati, who is remembered as Tia of STAR One's Remix is back on Indian television with SAB TV's magic comedy Gilli Gilli Gappa. Shweta is essaying the role of a fairy who is visible only to her naughty and mischievous children. She is sent back to earth on her children's request to God. The show is launching on 16th December. Shweta is really happy to be back on TV. She waited for long to get a good role and so she is very happy doing it. We spoke to her about her new role.
If you get real magical powers, what would you do to make people happy?
I would provide food, shelter and education to street kids. I am also an animal lover so I would like to protect all the animals.
What would you wish from a fairy?
To give me powers to help the needy.

What is Gilli Gilli Gappa all about?
It is a light hearted comedy show in which I play mother for the first time of three little kids. The story revolves around magic.

What made you to take up this show?
The subject is unique and I haven't done an out and out comedy. It's an opportunity for me to showcase my comic talent. I hope the audience loves it.

Which is your all time favourite magical fairy tale and why?
Everyone loved the fairy tale of Cinderella and her cute love story. I hope that like Cinderella, I too get my Prince Charming.

I was always fascinated by magic. I would watch shows like Bewitched and Shararat.
