although there is no relation between these 2 things....
But Punjabi Jatts are BADNAAM because of the songs made....
DAARU TAAN JATT DE NAAL KABRAAN TAK JAAU....its a quotation meaning....
Daaru will even go with JATT when he dies....

Gosh what a terrible way to portray a Punjabi. But whiskey seems popular for most drinkers in India n Sri Lanka.

And u knw mostly jatts dont even dance in the parties witout sharab... Dats y they make such songs... All market...

I am jatt but i dont drink lol 😉 i dance in parties like no other lol

but nowdays every punjabi song has jatt in it.. Well i don mind dat haha

i'm punjabi too, but i don't like this word "JATT". it sounds very derogatory to me.

There is a recent movie in pinjabi "Chenvan dariya" (Sixth river). Punjab is known as the land of five rivers and this movie talks about the sixth river (of alcohol) which is destroying Punjabis. In one of the interviews, one famous old punjabi singer who has always acted as posti(addict) in his llife wanted the "songs with daaru" to be banned. According to him It is a bad state of affairs in Punjab, the daaru should not be glamorized or encouraged in any form. But the reality is, these songs are very popular.
