Will it go the 'Hero' way

I remember a movie called 'Hero which i saw sometime back which was i think the debut film of Jackie shroff and meenakshi sheshadri. He is a criminal brought up by a criminal whom he is indebted to. to save his 'dad' he kidnaps the police chief's daughter as a cop. she thinks he is a cop and falls in love with him. then during the end of the stay in the jungle after they fall in love with each other she discovers he is a criminal. he then decides to go against his dad and turn over a new leaf. He tries to survive in the real world the honest way to win the girl from her family........ It was quite a cute 'old' film.
