I think that Kamal has stolen the show today.😊 Mind blowing singing.
Sugandha and Abhilasha have disappointed me today. Just not their day. No worries, sometimes Sachin Tandulkar gets out at duck too.

EEEP!
The only thing I will complain about is the background singers!!! They were either really nasal or really sharp!

Haaye! Ranjeet set the mood and was totally awesome! Whoever said that he was pathetic might want to listen to Suganddhas performance!

Kamal was WOW. I seriously don't have any words!

I did not like song of kamal khan. He just did average. He missed surs more than abhilasha and bisakh.
ranjeet did not miss sur. ranjeet is real winner.

I don't know, maybe the fact that your ID is " Ranjeetsfan" makes me think you're biased... but you're entitled to you're opinion.. I hope ranjeet goes very far.

and as for coming in the bottom week after week this is bound to happen when we have zenophobic and judgmental people who vote for reasons other than purely singing ruling the roost, one of which is you I suspect.
I am an Indian too but consider that music rises beyond any other consideration.
Maybe we should stop inviting Pakistani contestants in future and be absolutely honest with it.
I am shocked at some of the zenophobic posters and would choose to ignore them.
I responded to you because you became personal and started giving me advice.
Pl keep your advice to yourself.
I gave my opinion. Not thrusting it on anyone. Give yours and be done with it. Don;t give me advice ok?

You are talking with wrong person, his understanding of fearlessness is very limited. Iska matlab hai jo kabhi roye nahin wohi fearless hai. People who always talk about non-singing thing in singing competition then how can they understanding anything related with singing. According to Ankit Khalli is the best singer, becuase he is shown as fearless.

Anyway all of us know that Pakistani contestants cannot go higher than this. And I am not a Pakistani fan at all. I just love music and hatke singers that's all.
And tell me who doesnt consider nusrat, mehndi hassan, farida khanum, begum akhtar and so on and so forth as being great singers?
Don;t we love their music just as we love Kishore Kumar, Mohammed Rafi, Talat mahmood, sonu nigam, kailsah kher and so on and so forth?
All I meant was it is a music contest. people from all over the world have been selected and music should score over everything else in an ideal world. In my opinion there are singers who are weaker than Alisher. I did not freak out when khurram was eliminated because I did not consider him better than the others.
My innocent comments were given hues and shades that they didnt have. Pl refer to commenter no 1 after my post followed by the commenter with whom I have been having a spangling match.
And then one thing leads to another.

Lotus, dont respond to trouble makers. Their job is to ruin the topic. Tumse is better than them, gaali deta hai seedha munh pe lekin do not ruin each and every topic. They do not give their opinion on but try to ruin the thread using their pseudo-nationalism.

just finished watching Ali Sher's Piya Ghar Aaya...
First of all, he did a great start to the beautiful qawali....
The harkat with Ni, was fantastic... The way he took Ni to a lil longer extent and then hitting the "Sum"
It was a typical freestyle performance...The alaap of Raaga Ahir Bhairav (i guess) in between was just out of the world...Vivadi Swars were again used there...
After that alaap he came back to the tune with Naad Dhwani..
Like a typical qawal...
Then in the antara, the harkat with Gharihyaal is again very tough to manage...
The ending alaap again was fabulous...
The atmosphere he created, the energy, the soul...in every way the performance was great....He gave this qawali a very different touch...
BUT THE PROBLEM IS ANKIT DIDN'T LIKE IT....SO NOBODY WILL...

Nice analysis, Sher ji has a lovely throw in his natural rustic voice.
Ha ha šŸ˜†
I am sure Ankit listens to reason eventhough he makes sweeping statements at times.

I do not think that Ranjeet was as bad as you made him out to be. He may not be mature yet but he sang very courageously and quite well.

For other genres of music I may rank these singers differently.

Hope in future you would state the context and the yardstick that you are using when you are ranking the singers.

Pl refer to the heading of the post. My take on today's show. So my analysis is based only on Friday's episode.
And kamal according to me followed by Alisher were the best.
I might also and will surely I think rank the singers differently for other genres.
My context was the heading of my post.
Thanks
