These are the reasons as to why I don't want Reet to be w/Bhisham's bro & why some other people may have issues w/her being w/ him as well:
1. He was introduced so late in the show. It would be different if he was rubbed in starting from a lot earlier.
2. By the time the writers got rid of Bhisham, a lot of people wanted Reet to be w/either Yagya or Bhisham. If she were to end up w/this new guy, Samvad, then it will be sad for both Reet + Yagya fans & Reet + Bhisham fansđ!
3. Before Bhisham fell off the terrace, she felt that Bhisham could be worse & he talked to her like that because someone poisoned his mind & that it wasn't him talkin', defied his mom a few times, & he helped Reet that day by cooking all that food which was sweet of him to dođ. There was some character development but the writers decided to ruin everything when Bhisham was about to rape her. If only the writers could have developed Bhisham even more than they did rather than getting rid of his character & introducing a new guyđ
4. I felt that there may have been foreshadowing of Reet ending up w/Bhisham when Kaveri told him while he was cooking for Reet, that girls are fragile beings & you should treat them well. He said he has tried to impress Reet but whatever he has been doing hasn't worked in order to win her over. Then Kaveri told him that if he treats her well, like the way he is treating her right now, then maybe one day Reet will want to be w/him.
5. We've gotten so used to both Yagya & Bhisham.
6. Yagya went through a lot in his love for her- he went to jail twice, his reputaion got tarnished due to him getting framed for rapin' a girl, he has been separated from his mom, & he's gone through torture in jail & although Bhisham didn't go through as much as he did, she was the light of his life & I feel that part of the reason as to why he was attached to her in an unhealthy way (for ex. saying that if she leaves him, he'll kill himself) has to do w/how he was raised. He feels that w/o this light in his life which is pretty much the only light in his life, his life is not worth livin' - this basically means that he's willing to leave his mom who he loves very much if Reet leaves him. He freakin' tried to commit suicide by strangling himself. Anyways, I feel bad for both of these guys for different reasons.
7. I think it's weird if a storyline has to do with 2 guys lovin' a girl but the girl ends up w/neither of them. Instead of endin' up w/either one of them, she ends up with someone else- especailly if this guy she ends up with comes way later into the picture- I loathe this writingđĄ & wouldn't like this writing for pretty much anything, not just this show!
* I don't mind if Reet & Samvad are a couple for a temporary period of time but in the end of the show I'd rather have her not be w/him. Ideally I'd want her to fall in love w/a sweet & strong Bhisham & for her to be w/him & to make it even more ideal, for them to have a beautiful baby girl.
