Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka on Star One, said to be inspired by Ekta Kapoor's life, is being touted as the biggest Balaji show ever. The show revolves around Nimmo, a bubbly yet aimless girl who is her father's favourite child and also his biggest worry. Yet, she surprises everyone by becoming an ambitious television tycoon.

Earlier titled Kannu Ki Kismat Mein Kya Hai, the storyline also has shades of Cinderalla with two elder sisters Naina and Swati messing up Nimmo's life. South Indian star Sanjeeda, the lead star of the show, met Ekta Kapoor at a party and was asked to audition for Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii. But one look at her and Ekta knew she had found her Nimmo.
