It was also channel's master stroke in asking the housemates whether they wanted Samir back. When Sallubhai asks you a loaded question, could you dare to differ? So, we had the spectacle of the whole HAVAS gang saying yes, though without their heart in it:)

I always love Salman for the entertainment quotient he brings with him but I often find myself admiring him more for the humane side of him. I He comes across as such a gentleman (people might disagree with me but I take him to be nice person in general)and I was pretty happy with the way he questioned Dolly , invoked enough guilty feeling in her that she openly apologized (whether it came from her heart or not is a different matter), at the same time he wasn't too harsh on her. I have a difference of opinion at two places in your post. One being, no one knows Dolly. That's not true. She has been around on television since quite some time now and I am sure she is well known among the tv fraternity and other media circles. So I am not sure whether Salman had a hand in bringing her inside the BB house. It could easily have been as well the producers' /makers' decision to get her on board, knowing her loud nature and capability to create controversies well.

Secondly, yes Salman has been sweet towards Shweta, but I, in no way see him being partial towards her. He is as sweet to Sara and I should say sweetest towards Seema. So I dont totally agree with you saying Shweta is Salman's favourite. If he has any fav, I am sure it is Seema and no one else.

Thanks for your differing views on two points. Yes, Dolly is not an entirely a non-entity in glamour world. But a few of the housemates who knew her did so through their association with her event management work (e. g. Shweta). Most of them were like Dolly, who??

Also, let me agree with you, Salman is fair to all, but that does not mean he does not have his personal favorites. Shweta gets more than fair share of appreciation from Salman especially in the looks department, something that is in the manner of serious compliment than the superficial, light mannered comment on Veena's looks. And Sallu likes Shweta is not because he has wathced Shweta's serials and her Prerna role, but maybe because of what she is going through with the kind of hubby who falls for everything and stands for nothing. And also for whatever his friend Dolly had done unto Shweta.

And talking about Seema (again, how many of us knew her?), she is fav of most of masses because she is being herself and simple. So let us borrow the famous George Orwellian quote : All housemates are equal to Sallubhai, but some are more equal than others!!😉
