No time for girls
He has a large female fan following drooling over him every time he makes an appearance on the small screen. The fact that Vivian D'Sena plays a supernatural character, Abhay Raichand, in Pyaar Kii Ek Kahani doesn't affect his popularity. The show, which is being aired on Star Plus, has found an eager audience among the youngsters. Vivian, well aware of his effect on the opposite sex, says, "I am genetically blessed. I have inherited my father's good looks. I also work hard to keep fit and look good. I follow a strict diet programme and spend hours in the gym."
But Vivian is much more than just beefcake. He has done his engineering from AIEEE and could have built a career for himself in the corporate world. But since he was always interested in the performing arts, he thought of giving acting a try. "I am a die-hard fan of Salman Khan. He was my motivation behind aiming for a sculpted body and I also aspired to be an actor like him. One phone call changed my life forever. I was called by the makers of the serial for a screen test and was selected," quips Vivian.
Though he plays the lead in an intense love story, he confides that he is single and in no hurry to change his status. "I am single and just 22 years old. I will tie the knot only eight years from now. At present, I am focussing only on my career and it's of prime importance to me. I don't have time for girls now. I also feel that love is a sacred thing and I don't believe in falling in and out of love all the time," he says.
