I dont think that he has any soft corner for shweta. I have a feeling that he cant take it whenever Dolly crosses the line and starts abusing, if he is present during the fight, he takes a stand. The other day also when Dolly had a fight with Manoj, he was at the table too and so he took a stand and he replied back to Dolly, remember those words "watch your manners" Sameer is a gentleman and is qualified enough to keep his dignity, probably he cant see that Dolly keeps targeting Shweta again and again and that too on purpose. May be he feels bad as Shweta is a mom and he does not want her daughter to see her mom in such conditions. I am proud of him that he is the one who has the guts to face off Dolly unlike Ashmit who looked like a psycho when he was having a fight with dolly. Sameer does not want the rules to be broken as then the rationing budget will get affected and that would affect the whole house, so he is just making sure that everything goes by the book. We have not seen a single instance where he has been eyeing shweta or has soft corner for her. Neelam Kothari is way much better than shweta, jiske paas Neelam hai, woh kaanch lekar kya karega.
