My Maaneet FF Part 8 updated Pg14

The day started with dadima sat at the breakfast table waiting for Maan to get ready and come down for his breakfast as per usual before he went to KC. Maan is his usual swagger walked down the stairs towards dadima and planted a soft kiss on her cheek, "good morning dadima" "good morning beta" dadima replied "what are your plans today?" she asked. "you know dadima everyday is the same I'll go to the office and then come home in the evening". "not today, no going to the office and no coming home!" Maan looked confused and asked dadima what she meant? "First call Geet here and then I shall explain" she said with a smirk! "dadima please, tell me clearly what you mean!" "first Geet!" Maan knew he wasnt going to get anything out of dadima until Geet was here so he picked up his mobile and dialled Meera's house number.

"Geeeeet! Please pick up the phone I'm in the shower!" Meera yelled from the bathroom. "it's ok Meera ive got it...hello?" Geet answered in her normal tone. Maan on the other side lost in the thoughts of her by just hearing her voice. "hello?" she replied again.."Maan?" she said knowing that silence on the phone could only mean it was him! "Er Geet..dadima has called you to the house come quickly!" he said quickly once snapping out of his thoughts, just as he was about to end the call Geet said "wait..what has come up that dadima has asked urgently for me to come to the house?" Maan looks at dadima with a straight face "even I'm curious to know what it is!" Maan and Geet both put the phone down and Geet looks up to the ceiling "Hay babaji what kind of day have you planned for me! Cant even drink one cup of tea in peace!" "Geet who was it?" Meera asked "who else but DD! I have to go it's urgent!" she said picking up her bag and headed for the door. "yeah yeah it's Maan so ofcourse its urgent!" she laughed "be quiet Meera you say anything! I'll see you later bye!" she said as she slammed the door in frustration.

Part 2

Sat at the table Maan watched his breakfast get cold as dadima continued to eat hers, "Maan beta, you're breakfast is getting cold, eat." "Hmm.." is all she was able to get out of him. On the other hand Geet was hurriedly walking into the KC mansion but suddenly stopped when she saw Maan and dadima sat at the breakfast table. "Hay babaji what is about to help?" Dadima looks up and see's Geet.."Geet!" Maan snaps out of his thoughts once hearing her name and turned around to look in the direction dadima was looking in. Geet smiled softly "Good morning dadima.." "why are you stood there come here join us for breakfast it's only just been served come!" Geet slowly walked towards the table her eyes fixed on Maan and his eyes fixed on her. "No dadima I'm not hungry you continue" "Geet..breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Isn't that right Maan?" Dadima said knowing full on he hadn't touched his plate. "Maan?" She said again "Huh?" he replied.."Ha yes breakfast is very important sit down!" He quickly said and picked up his now cold toast and began to eat. Dadima couldn't help but laugh knowing what he just did.

"Dadima..you're here, I'm here and most importantly.." he said and looked at Geet "Geet is here..so what is it that you want to say that you couldn't say to me alone?" "well beta..you are not going to the office today and you are not going for a few days because I have arranged for you to go to Goa for a few days!" Maan shocked at the news asks dadima "Goa? Why? Why do I need to go to Goa? I'm not going to Goa for no reason" "You are going for a reason you are taking Geet also!' Geet too shocked asks "Me? But dadima.." "No buts and whys! This is my final decision and that's it!" Dadima gets up and sits next to Geet and puts her hand on the side of Geet's face.."Geet beta, you have faced nothing but trouble and hurt and what Dev and NT did..my sorrys will never be enough to erase it all" Geet's eyes filling up with tears "No dadima none of that was you're fault don't blame yourself" Dadima smiles and asks "How did I find such a beautiful and caring to be granddaughter-in-law?" Geet blushes as she wipes away her falling tears. "That is all fine but why are you sending us to Goa?" asked Maan still confused by dadima's conspiracy! "I want you two to spend some quality time together! Whenever you are both together it's as Boss and Secretary! But I want you both to spend time together as fiances! Understood!" "But dadima we can do that here to there is no need to go out of town!" Maan adamant that he wasn't going until he looked at Geet with her pleading eyes which he was able to read clearly that she wanted to go. So he decided to see if she had the guts to tell dadima herself.."Right Geet?" She noticed the slight smirk on his face and knew what he was indirectly challenging her too. Geet self thoughts that I am no longer that old Geet Maan.."No!" She said..Maan shocked at her answer "I want to go to Goa! Such a lovely thing dadima has done for us and you only think work work work! Sometimes spend some time with me to no?" She cheekily winked as dadima blushed "So it's final I'll tell Nakul to pack your suitcase your flight is later in the evening!" Dadima walks off to find Nakul and leaves Geet and Maan alone..
