Maan: (thinking to himself) never did I think I was going to get married let alone fall in love...but now that I realize that for the past few weeks the affect Geet was having on me was actually me falling in love with her...I never want to see her cry...I will do anything to make her happy...Geet is not only my wife and the love of my life....but she is now MY LIFE

Maan and Geet both stood their lost in each other's eyes....after a few moments Geet shyly looked away

Maan: Geet...woh...I wanted to tell you something

Geet: ji kayhie

Maan: I just want you to know that even though I married you...I don't want things to ever change between us.....and I don't want you to think that I'm trying to take Ranbir's place in your heart

Hearing Ranbir's name Geet heart broke....Maan could see the saddens in her eyes...he walked to her and cupped her face in his hands

Maan: Geet (he said softly) please don't cry...I know he was your first love...I just want us to be friends

He said wiping her tears....Geet looked at him and nodded

Geet: Thank you Maan....for understanding me...and I would like us to be friends too

She said giving Maan a hug

As Geet was in his arms he thought to himself

Maan: Geet I hope that one of these days you can love me as much as I love you....but for now I will take friendship over anything

He said holding her tightly...suddenly they heard a knock on the door and Geet pulled away and fixed her sari while Maan went and opened the door

NT: hey guys are you ready? Everyone is waiting for you (she walks over to Geet)...wow you look gorgeous

She says as she takes her hand

NT: Veerji I'm going to take Geet with me you can come whenever you are ready

She said giggling at Maan...Maan just shook his head and watched as they walked out the door

Downstairs Dev and NT where introducing Geet to all their friends....everyone was completely bowled over by Geet's beauty and instantly feel in love with here...Maan was standing by Adi and Pinky pretending to listen to their conversation but was secretly stealing glances at his beautiful wife...he felt so proud when everyone would call her Mrs. Maan Singh Khurana

Suddenly Maan heard the sweetest sound ever....Geet was standing with NT and Dev laughing about something...he loved the sound of Geet's laughter....as he looked over her way he saw her sari's blouse's hook came undone....he tried to make his way to Geet but the guests where stopping him to congratulate him....when he as finally free from them he didn't see Geet in sight....he looked around trying to find her

Geet on the other hand was trying to find Pinky and Adi...she had not seen them since they had arrived...she made her way towards the kitchen to get a glass of water...as she was walking someone grabbed her hand tightly and pulled her into the room and shut the door

Geet: choriye mujhe or I'll scream

She said scared...a hand covered her mouth....she saw it was Maan....she relaxed in his arms and looked at him

Maan: chup bilkol chup

He said as he loosened his grip on her hand and took his hand off her mouth

Geet: Maan...aap?

She said confused

Geet: is everything ok?

Maan: haan....woh Geet actually...tumhari sari ka blouse

He said as he turned her around and grabbed her blouse and tightly pulled the hook and fixed it for her

Maan: your blouse was opened and I didn't want anyone looking at it with thoughts in their head....after all you are Maan Singh Khurana's wife

He said as he traced his fingers down her back and slowly placed his hands on her waist and turned her around....Geet was trying to catch her breath with Maan's one touch

As Maan was about to walk out the room...he turned back around and came to Geet's side...he leaned over and whispered in her ear softly

Maan: (whispering softly) suno....zara? sari sambhal ke

He said giving Geet a wink and walking out the room....Geet stood there frozen...her face was blushing up over what Maan had just done and said...

Geet: Haaye Babaji what is happening to me...yeh Maan....

She was the in the middle of thinking about Maan and his kindness towards her when her eyes filled up with tears...she quickly wiped them away when Dev and NT came into the room

Dev: Geet dadi is looking for you

NT: haan jao jaldi aao

As Geet came out of the room her eyes where now searching to see where Maan was...she saw him standing in the middle of the room with Adi, Pinky and Dadi...she came and stood next to Adi

Dadi: chalo Geet is now here...ladies and gentlemen please clear the dance floor while the newlywed couples have their first dance...

As everyone cleared the dance floor adi and Pinky made their way to the dance floor and started to dance as the music came on....Maan took Geet's hand into his and walked to the dance floor with her...Geet couldn't take her eyes off of Maan

He gently placed his hands on her waist and pulled her close to him slamming her against his chest....Geet blushed and looked down....Maan took Geet's arms and placed them around his head...as he bought his arms around Geet's waist holding her tightly...as they both swayed back and forth to the music lost deep into each other's eyes....

Dev, NT, and Dadi stood their amazed...they could see the love in Maan's eyes for Geet....they too were hoping just like Maan that one day Geet would realize her feelings for Maan

As the song ended Maan and Geet where still standing their embraced in each other's arms staring into each other eyes....everyone as looking at them with a smile on their face...Dev and NT made their way over to them

Dev (clearing his throat) um bro songs over....you can let go oh babhi now

He said as all the guest started to laugh

Hearing their laugh Maan and Geet came back to reality and let go of each other...Geet grabbed NT hand and ran behind Dadi....Maan looked at Geet with a smile on his face...all he could see where those intoxicating Hazel eyes that he fell in love with the first time they ever meet

Dadi: Dev (she said laughing) leave them alone...ok listen Maan, Geet, Adi, and Pinky come with me

They all followed Dadi into her room as she shut the door

Geet: Dadi is everything ok?

Dadi: haan beta....I just have a gift for the 4 of you

Maan: Gift?

Dadi went over to her dresser and took out for envelopes and handed them to all of them

Dadi: this is your wedding gift from me...I booked you all your honeymoon tickets....you are all going to Switzerland for 2 weeks....and you guys leave tomorrow evening

She said with a smile on her face

Adi: dadi are you serious? I LOVE YOU

He said as him and Pinky gave her a big hug

Maan and Geet stood there stunned at what had just happened...they didn't know what to think but also thanked Dadi and gave her a hug

Maan and Geet's Room

The part was over and Maan and Geet where in their rooms changing into their night suits....as Geet came out of the washroom she went over and sat by Maan on the couch

Geet: Maan (she said trying to get his attention of his office work) Maan

Maan didn't hear Get calling his name....Geet saw that he was to engrossed in his work that she took the laptop from him and closed it and put it aside

Maan: Geet what are you doing I have some important work to do

Geet: I don't care I've been calling your name and you won't listen to me....I need to talk to you....Dhust Dhanav workaholic

She whispered the last part under her breath thinking Maan couldn't hear it but he did....

Maan: kya kaha tumne

He said pretending to be angry

Geet: I called you a Dhust Dhanav workaholic...HAPPY

She said as she got up not wanting to talk to him anymore.....Maan had a smile on his face as he was shocked that Geet actually told him what she said....he grabbed her hand and pulled her to him causing her to fall on top of him....they sat like that for a few moments....Geet on top of Maan as her hands were placed on his chest....and Maan had his arms tightly around Geet

Maan: umm...woh sorry Geet

He said as she got up

Geet: it's ok

She said adjusting her hair

Maan: you wanted to talk to me about something?

Geet: haan woh honeymoon...

Get said as Maan cut her off

Maan: don't worry Geet I'll make up some excuses to dadi and get us out of it...don't worry

Geet: nahi...woh actually I was going to say did you want me to pack your things tonight or tomorrow

Maan looked at Geet confused

Maan: Kya

Geet: haan woh....I want to go...I've always wanted to go to Switzerland

Maan: par Geet.... mujhe lagta tha ki

Geet: that I'd be uncomfortable going with you

Maan: haan

Geet: Maan we're friends now right?

Maan: right

Geet: we'll I trust you....and we would be going as two friends

Maan was happy that Geet wanted to go on the trip with him...even if it was just as friends....he walked over to Geet and turned her around and gave her a smile

Maan: Geet (he said softly) we can pack our bags tomorrow...you must be tired....why don't you go to sleep

As Geet made her way to her bed she looked over and saw how uncomfortable Maan had been sleeping on the Futon for the past few nights...his feet where hanging off and he didn't look like he was having a good night sleep....she walked over to him and tapped him on the shoulder

Maan: Geet is everything ok?

Geet: haan....but I feel bad

Maan: why?

Geet: you look so uncomfortable sleeping here....why don't you sleep on the bed I'll sleep her....it's perfect for my height

Maan was touched that Get cared so much

Maan: no Geet I can't let you do that...I'm fine I'll manage

Geet was touched that Maan would rather be uncomfortable tan have her sleep on the futon....she took a deep breath and grabbed Maan's arm pulling him up on his feet

Maan: Geet what are you doing?

Geet: we'll if you're not going to listen to me I'll just have to do something myself

She said and she took Maan to the big king size bed in their room

Geet: Maan this is your bed...and you will be more comfortable sleeping here...

Maan: par Geet tum?

Geet: it's ok...you sleep on the left side and I'll sleep on the right side....I trust you Maan

She said as she went over to her side and laid down

Maan was flattered that Geet trusted him so much that she wasn't uncomfortable sharing a bed with him....as he laid down on the bed he turned towards Geet looking at her angelic face...thinking he was so lucky to have her in his life....Geet could feel Maan looking at her....she slowly opened her eyes and saw him starting at her....

Maan got up and slowly made his way slowly on top of Geet still looking into her eyes...their faces where inches apart.....Geet could feel Maan's muscles on her body...any flex he made she would feel it....she was mesmerized by his rugged good looks.....Maan could smell Geet's coconut shampoo that she used...her scent was enthralling his senses....all he wanted to do where to kiss those perfectly shaped pouted creamy lips she had....

Geet: Maan (she said hesitantly) aap...

Maan: Geet...don't worry I'm only shutting off your light

He said as he got off of her and made his way back to his side of the bed

Maan: Good night Geet

He said as she turned his back to her

Geet: ggg-goofnight Maan

Geet said trying to catch her breath

Maan knew he had some sort of affect on Geet...with that he closed his eyes with a satisfying smile on his face
