The thing is either way whichever girl mihir choose will upset some people.

Also just because he chose purva over smriti as his love doesnt make him a bad person.

I disagree with you becasue I've noticed that purva was his best friend and someone who he need in his life too since she was there for him whenever he needed someone. Smriti wasnt there. His love for purva ran deeper. Purva help him and define who he is. They have a lot of things in common such as responsbities for their family , they 're strong people with their own passion, support the truth and their marriage was different. ,because it about two people who came together without excepting one another to be their ideal parnter and respected each other while smriti was alive but did not share any relationship beside friendship until she died and time passed. They became closer and gradually love each other. Mihir and Purva shared equality in their marriage which is important, since most people lack that

And just because he found out about smriti doesnt mean his feeling for purva should change otherwise that wouldnt be realistic. He had changed so much had when he lost smriti, in a way he is not the same person when he was with smriti.

Also it is a show they cant actually wait for a year and then start the series to show that time passed, you're suppose to image that time passed more than just few months when he with purva.

At least he respect smriti and her opinions and recongnise that he need to support her too that better than him dismissing her

No one would ever expect Mihir to dismiss Purva since currently she is his wife... But the way he just mentioned Smriti as his farz was the case which make him to be thought like that.Smriti was his first love.He married her and their's was a happy family expect for the problems created by Kamini and Shalakha.He loved her to the core.When she became insane, at one point of time, he was so depressed and it was for the sake of his child that he decided to remarry.Even after Smriti's death, he seemed to be too much frustrated.But after that he started loving Purva and we know what followed later on....

It is not the fact about the month or years of marriage between Mihir-Purva but it is the way he forgot Smriti that made me(speaking personally) annoyed...How can one forget one's beloved so easier???Once he said to Purva, on behalf of Astha, that even if Smriti returns back he will not let her come in between them.Why did he say like that???What was that which made him say that??? Smriti was sooo sweet.She loved him to the core.Her life was full of pain and sacrifices(I know Purva too does sacrifices but I will give more footage to Smriti)....She is a mother.Still she is away from the child just for the sake of her sister, to preserve Purva's relationship....She is a mother, who didn't get a chance to spent much time with her dotted son, her child whom she love the most....She left her love, her child and married a guy like Karan.....why??? For the sake of her sister.Still she is been tortured by Karan and she's suffering all this for her Purva di.

Recently Mihir mentioned Purva as his pyaar and Smriti as his farz.How can he say that even after knowing the whole truth....It makes me feel that he has alrready given her place to Purva in his heart.How could a man ever do that??? It is then, that I doubt the love he had for Smriti....If it was real he would never have given Smriti's place to Purva nor utter such annoying words.I would have stood with him if he would have given equal priority to both Purva and Smriti in his heart.....But no, the man is different!!! He doesn't deserve a sweet woman like Smriti....What I hope is that, he gives atleast her child back to her.....

Mihir is bad because he married his wifes sister and slept with her within weeks of his wife dying. Thats just immoral.

Great analysis... Loved it...😃.. I just want to put onething here... He said Smriti is his farz only he came to know that Smriti is alive because he is already in love with Purva and when this happened, he did not know that Smriti is alive. But I love Smriti's character so much..... whatever you have said is 100% true.. I also feel for Purva..Now I am sure both sisters will be ready for sacrifices.. BUt purva will end up with Mihir and Baby wil end up Smriti...😃

Mihir is a bad guy for me. i dont care what people think about him, i dont need any justification. Fir me he is bad. How could a man can forget his first love and mother of his child and start new life within a month. Thats just disgusting. Hate you to core Mihir.

I don't agree. It took him so much time to move on after Smriti. Are you guys just saying this because he was able to recognize his feelings before Purva?

Yes, this sounds very hurtful. How could someone say this. BUT you know i don't think he meant it the way we are interpreting. Of course he was only able to say this after the DNA test "confirmed" that Smriti wasn't alive. He wouldn't have said it otherwise. So why did he say it? It's obvious isn't it? He knows that Purva needed reassurance. How could she live her life if she wasn't given closing? He needed to quell her fears, otherwise it would affect all of their relationships and her health subconsciously. Ever husband wants to remove all fear of separation from his wife (and vice versa if need be). If you truly loved someone, and that person had this fear in the back of their mind, wouldn't you want to remove that fear? Out of your love for them you would do whatever it takes to protect that person, even from their own fear.

And the comments on all of Smriti's sacrifices, at this point (when he made the statement) he doesn't know the truth! he doesn't know about all her sacrifices.

Yeah, this is hard to understand. He should have been confused or at least guilty. But maybe Mihir is a man who makes decisions and sees most things as black and white. It was true that he had gone thru so much and moved on, and there was no way he could look back.... this is why this is a serial. we cannot comprehend what a real person would do.
