Angad Hasija (actor) and Alekh Rajvansh (character)..
I feel as a loyal viewer of Bidaai till 15 days back also, that most of the actors and characters got their dues, except Angad Hasija as an actor or Alekh Rajvansh as a character...it seemed to me sometime back when I left watching Bidaai, that Alekh will get normal on his own to accept Sakshi and her child.
when Bidaai was launched with the foursome, among the four, nobody had an inch of doubt that this guy Angad Hasija is probably the best among the new lot, just because, he had a very challenging character to play and he did that excellent. I liked the part when he transitioned from abnormalcy to subnormalcy to normalcy, his walking style, his habits, his expressions seemed so gradual that only an inborn talent can think of such a transition and enact that. One needs to remember those episodes to know what I am talking about. But as an actor, he did not grow much in Bidaai. His character went back to abnormalcy post Sdahna's death and he started again his abnormal act. Thus, we never got to see much of Angad Hasija, the talent.
Coming to the character Alekh, I feel injustice is being done to him the most. He was always shown to be dependent and others deciding what to do...first CM, then Sadhna, then Vasu, Ragini. He never really got a back bone, except the small segment of Salekh love story, when he left home to find his identity. His reverting back to abnormalcy was an indication how much he loved his dear wife. But within sometime of his being normal, his marriage to Sakshi with full rituals and with a happy heart, actually wiped off that image of his love also. Even Ragini took seven years to accept Anmol, despite Anmol being a such a great soul. I feel Alekh's character sketch was not done with care. Within a couple of days, his switching from Sadhna to Sakshi, completely faded away all these seven years of the reason of his abnormalcy. I didn't know why he was shown abnormal without Sadhna and then reverting back immediately to accept Sakshi whole heartedly. I think Alekh's relationship with Sakshi needed to be given a little more time to develop, in order to get rid of this question of his character and whether he indeed loved Sadhna or loves Sakshi or he is just fine with any wife, whom others decide..
anyways, Alekh fans are the minority. Noone will question why injustice was done to Angad as an actor, despite being the most promising in the lot, and why Alekh's character was wrapped up in this way, that the reason of "his being abnormal after his wife's death" seem so illogical...if he could accept another woman so soon and without any effort, then what the point was in being abnormal all these seven years. Instead of stooping Sakshi's character so low before, if sometime was given to show that Sakshi's untiring care day in and day out for Alekh played a major role, it would have looked lot lot better...
