Finding Paradise
Her confession changed their lives welcoming to a special world for her and for him. It bonded them with a special bond that was invisible, but that wrapped them up in its cocoon which would hold them fiercely in its womb. Shaan closed his eyes lightly thinking if he could have just a single wish; to wake up every day to the sound of her breathing on his neck, the feel of her heart beating with his as he knew that he could never be this happy with anyone other than her.
"Shantanu, you are still here? Come on, we have to decorate the room for mom and dad" he was taken back with his wife, Khanak's words as she came running to him. With a sigh, he raised his eyebrows at her and grinned at her which took Khanak's breath away. "Are you sure that we have to prepare bed for mom and dad?" he whispered into her eyes in a husky voice and put her hair aside from her shoulder to make his track clear. He breathed in and out slowly so that she could feel the warmth of his breath on her neck and shoulder and looked at her eyes that were closed with desire. She tilted her head to one side giving him more access but he halted his movements upon hearing footsteps towards them. "Khanak, you go, I will be back in a while" Shaan made her to leave before Akshay reached him.
"Congratulations, bro. I wish I too would have such a wife who listens to me" Akshay spilled out his problems in front of Shaan, giving Shaan a hint that their plan had backfired. "So, you mean Kam did not affect on bhabhi? Man Khushboo bhabhi is too smart" Shaan held his waist with his hands and stared on the floor thinking what more could be done to help his brother. "Akshay" Khushboo called Akshay before Shaan could think of anything, but he promised to Akshay that he would help to solve the issue as soon as possible.
Khanak was arranging the red rose petals on the bed when Shaan entered into his parents' room, but she did not notice his presence as she was too involved in her task. She smiled with an angelic smile that pierced his heart, as she was finishing her task by arranging the last petal to complete the heart she made on the bed. Before she could keep the last petal on the bed, a strong hand caught on her wrist halting her work for a while. "No, let us complete it" Shaan whispered into her ears and together they placed the last rose petal to make the heart complete. For them it was not just a heart they made on the bed but it was a promise that they would be together and never apart. No one could ever understand how different and perfect their love was as silence speaks more than the words they exchanged.
"The red Odhani (veil women used to put around their neck or cover the head) should be put together with mom's sari so that she would dress as a bride again" Khanak took out the red odhani out of the dresser and walked towards Madvi's dress which was kept on the couch. Shaan who was following Kahank's actions with his eyes reacted so quickly that Khanak did not even get a chance to confront against him. Shaan pulled it so quickly from her and covered her head with it and murmured "perfect bride" hearing this color of Khanak's cheeks changed into red as she blushed.
Each time he saw her like that his knees weakened from the sensation, like a person who had dried throats and longed for water, he too needed to overcome his desire that would crush him sooner or later. The odhani on her head fell more on her face obstructing the view of her face hiding her expressions from him but relieved her nervousness for a while. He took her hand up to his lips as he could not control his emotions any more against his will; he wanted to love every inch of her, taste every part of her body if he could ever drink the love in her blood through her pores. He wanted her to quench the fire in his blood with her sweet caresses and her to touch his soul with passion.
They did not know when and how their ballet began, moving along the rhythm of their souls they vowed never to end the dance as long as the song played. They wanted this moment to last forever as they were fused in the heat of passionate love together as one mind and one soul. They looked deep into each other's eyes as they saw the reflection of heaven within them, allowing them to reveal what they felt for each other.
"Shantanu, wake up" Shaan woke up hearing his wife calling him as she brought bed tea for him. Thinking that it was another dream he bit his lip in frustration but when he saw the marks on his chest he realized that it was not a dream and waited for the moment until he could see his wife's reddened cheeks.
