Guess who is Manish's guitar tutor?

Till now Shantanu has been hogging all the limelight and female attention from the fairer sex on STAR One's Rang Badalti Odhani.

But the lad will have stiff competition from suave Manish Raisinghani who plays his college friend on the show. As shown on the show, Shaan has stunned his family by unearthing his talent of playing the guitar. And now it's Manish's turn to pull the strings but it hasn't come easy to him. He was strictly asked to learn to play guitar before he started shooting so that he appears as a pro on the show. Without wasting a moment, Manish started hunting for the best suitable tutor and he found one in the universally recognized medium – the Internet.

Says Manish, "The first thing my co-producer Swapna Joshi asked me was to learn guitar, as my character must look comfortable while holding the instrument. Well taking a cue from her expectations from the character, I started learning the instrument. I was so keen on learning it that I didn't miss practicing on it even on Diwali, though I didn't compromise with my Diwali pooja and celebrations. The very second day I managed to learn to play the signature tune of Karz and sent it to the producer. She was amazed with the pace at which I was learning the guitar. My happiness knew no bounds when she reverted saying she is proud of me and my dedication."

The actor is now trying to master another signature tune from the popular flick Kal Ho Na Ho. It is now very clear that Manish trusts technology for almost everything. "I am a complete tech savvy guy and I love to learn new things. You can learn almost everything right from learning how to play instruments to even swimming through internet", quips he.

Manish happens to be Shaan's best friend from college but the duo turned rivals due to misunderstandings. Shaan and he were a part of a rock band during their college. Manish quits his passion, music, due to vengeance as his music doesn't pay him. He states, "Well I don't know my character name on the show but he and Shaan were as thick as thieves during their college days. I leave music as it fails to fetch me money. I also harbour a lot of vengeance for people around me. I have now become filthy rich in life and bump into Shaan out of nowhere."

Once upon a time thick friends turn foes due to some unfortunate occurrences in their lives.
