Shriya, if khanak was thinking like that , then i blame her , when she forced herself on many things , this was open invitation , and why would khanak think like that , i didnot read one of friday update , but it said madhavi and khanak r heading towards dosti thing , so does it makes sense nope........

yes shan is at fault but not fully

well jaya dear

having been a once bride myself i can tell u it is not so easy to get into ur hubbys circle so easily.,especailly when there is a status block like in khanaks case.i did face that staus problem myself.

, u do feel somebody need to call u.,and look forward to hubby to make u feel comfortable

it happens for sometime later u end up being close with themand gel very easily.

however it also depends on the opposite party to respond

hmm not buying it with khanak not able to gel or something , no way . she is close to everyone , getting close to madhavi apart kushboo ,..... and darling khanak was never some one who would shy away she was always shown as out going person who will do everything to get along with everyone , to be honest , family is accepting khanak, but khanak still is not feeling part of the f amily .................

@Jaya - I'll disagree with you here...

Khanak is someone who has always been belittled by everyone in the family at some point in time...

And she knows that Sunil and Akki though are with her but they wont really stand a chance in front of Boo and Madhavi.....and they'll be in trouble if they stand up for her...

Also Dadi is no use....She never stands up for Khanak.....except fretting.."meri pyaari bachi"..ugh !

Also the main thing is that we think that Khanak was left out ....But she didnt think that way...She was content to stand there and watch her family...the family she had come into stand together and share a moment of joy...

She might have had it in her heart that if she goes there the spell will break and maybe Madhavi or Khushboo will walk away...

The character of Khanak is such that she'd rather take the pain herself and keep everyone's smiles intact....She wanted the family to come together and she facilitated that....She knows some of them dont accept her as their own...so she stayed away....watching from Afar...

If at that moment someone had led her to the group and made her feel Wanted and not Forced....Then maybe she wudve in future never needed an invitation...

U know....Its a case of Once Bitted Twice Shy........She'z been insulted soo many times that they need to Explicitly tell her that she is INDEED family....They need to Acknowledge....she'z assumed it for far too long....She DID deserve some acknowledgement yesterday....Even a gesture from Shaan cudve saved the day....!!

But ,I sumhow feel it was Symbolic......They wanted to show that she united them all but she'z still not a part of them yet....!!

Her Ego(m talking about the Id,Ego,Superego here...not attitude wala ego) needs that boost....Her confidence has been shattered too many time...Her psyche needs to be cushioned with assurance that she is their own now !! And that wud be the right way...Why should she always take the first step...hasnt she done it everytime...Cant anyone do it for her just Once....?? Is it asking for too much?? Then soo be it...She deserves this much !!!😆

reading ur's n shriya's dscussn i still feel tht if khanak is nt tht smart n social to go n mix up...shaan shld hv askd hs wife to do so.as akki took hs wife aside for gft.........shaan is very much responsible for d whole scene.....sh's hs ardhangini.......n he shld taught hr hw to mix up........sh's fm a place whr bahu's r kept in ghunghat n all.............so il end on d note tht both were wrong bt shaan on bigger part..............

Vandu..... great point made dear.....the CV's in many way have left us confused thats for sure...but agree it was supposed to be symbolic in a way that after soo many years it was Khanak the unwanted one that got them to be a family again....bought them back together to be a family and have fun etc....

yes shriya completely agree with u they were so busy with themselves none bother to accompany her even his hubby shaan, dint expect such behaviour form any of them. shaan mite have come close to her and put his hand on his wifey shoulder and made her comfortable .all the time he was just looking at her and starring atleast sunil or dadi must have credited her for.she is a part of this family and there is every right of hers to be with them but they disappointed every one with there behaviors towards her sorry to say i just didn't like it be it shaan or his family members

Nice topic and nice discussion :)

For me when I saw Khanak she was not behaving as if she was left out instead she was conetently watching her efforts pay off...

She is loved by Shaan and adored by Dadi,Sunil and Akshay. So yesterday I saw attempt drawing her to dance (Akshay) ,praising her to be the reason for Shaan's change (Sunil) and Shaan and Dadi givings looks which also means including you in their feelings ... Yesterday there was so much said between Shaan and Khanak just by ishara ,looks and nod of head ..Infact I loved that bit ..she was in background not not left out..

One Khanak is a shy person ,so dancing with family is too soon for her ,so I dint expect Shaan pullling her there ..

Also though things are improving between Madhvi and Khanak..Still things are not ok.. Khandelwal bahu;'s have not reached that level that Khanak can stand in a group with Madz and Boo and have discussions ..

And Yesterday was Madhvi's day ,so no one not even Kahanak would do anything that would make her grumble after putting in so much effort just to make her happy ...
