The real problem about CID now-a-days is the crews don't believe making a cool, calm, intelligent and clever episode.
An Investigation demands detection, analysis, observation , thought process, innovative and effective ideas more over some smart and intelligent officers who can do that job without any disput. But presently, any creative team, whatever the show is, can't make that possible. Lack of ideas, Lack of knowledge even lack of experience do matter in that case. They only believe in show off things like aggression, rude behavior etc etc. That's why old investigation shows still attract us even now. That's why Sherlock Holmes never made again. That's why CID never went back to its top.
When we see shows like these now, its very much predictable about each scene, each move. They can not create that magic work , which will bind us with the show. Now-a-days we don't even feel any type of interest to sit there and watch full show.

Yes, I agree with you, there should be limits set to aggresion. Nowadays, everyone, be it Sachin, Daya or Abhijit, or even ACP is picking fights with whoever, be it friend or foe. All this aggresion makes no sense at all. What is FW trying to prove? That in order to be a successful detective, you have to be aggresive and use your hands more than your brain??? Previously, ACP sir did not shout around all the time, only when he made someone confess, same goes for Daya Sir. Now ACP shouts at everything, and gets frustrated at the slighest inconvinence, so much has to make sarcastic comments at the 'inept' Dr. Salunkhe. Abhijit Sir was a bit implusive as we all know, but at least that anger had a reason and was well utilized and not arbitrary. Daya Sir was cool as a cucumber, look at him now, holding people's collars without hesitation? What is FW making out of these characters? Even Sachin should be better characterized, minus all that shouting and manhandling.

CID being a well-loved show should not show such aggressiveness. If CID is meant to be a detective procedural then they should try to reduce running, chasing, slapping, rough handling, just interrogation, too much of forensics etc.

Uff. Am really sad and disgusted at the way FW and Sony are damaging the image of CID. In the past I have seen three or four cases of the golden age which disgusted me. This time almost every case is making me cringe.

Daya and Abhi have changed a lot. Abhi was better as an aggressive thinker and planner. Daya was better as a mild backbone of the team. These days all Abhi does is argue with Salunkhe or flirt with Tarika or make rare appearences. These days Daya has become a different person, more slapping and making hardly any appearences. Sachin is so disgusting when he shows off his aggression- Of course I prefer the Duo to him.

What do you guys think?
