Saif Ali unable to take up Rathnam's Guru

The buzz is that Saif Ali Khan has had to half-heartedly say no to Mani Ratnam for his movie Guru due to date problems.

According to Saif the dates for Mani's Guru clashed with his dates for the director of Salaam Namaste, Siddharth Anand and his world tour.

Guru was first supposed to be made in English and shot in London. Saif will start shooting for Siddharth's movie after June. Rani Mukherji stars opposite Saif in the flick.

It is a serious film where Saif is playing the role of a character that goes through a rise- and-fall situation. Saif Ali Khan is also offered a role in remake of Feroz Khan's Qurbani but he seems to have few date problems there too
