he hasn't signed a contract. Thing with these daily soaps is they're subject to TRPs (a system of ratings) the show stays on air as long as it has good rating. Shows like Kyunki went on for as long as 8 years whereas others such as Desh wraped up in less than 2.
Harshad will be part of the show as long as Anurag is required- which will be for the whole duration of the programme unless he gets into a conflict with the production house (which will result in him being booted from BT camp as with Rajeev Khandelwal, Sujal of Kahiin To Hoga fame)
And I agree with you, TL will run for at least 2 years, which means Harshad can't get out of it before that and Additi can't get in unless (and this is what I suggested elsewhere) they replace Nupur's character and give Additi her place. Taani can be the mighty heart and give up Anurag- he doesn't love her anyway so why hang on? 😆 Or, Taani can have a plastic surgery 🤣 but I doubt if it will happen
Additi has her role in Sangini...though I'm not sure how much longer that part will be considering the show is mainly focused on Rudr and Gauri unless the creatives decide to make Abhay and Pihu the secondary lead pair and give them more of a storyline.

Things look grim just because we have to wait for such a long time.
There are some other factors to consider as well:
Harshad has done two shows with the BT camp...and considering how he learned a lesson during his LRL days he knows the importance of getting into a good production house who will take care of you. More than likely he probably will stick to BT unless they don't offer him a role in any other upcoming serials.
Balaji still is India's biggest TV production house and Ekta Kapoor is a force to be reckoned with. She's also a formidable enemy and is known to hold a grudge for an eternity. That and the success of their recent Bollywood ventures e.g. Once upon a time in Mumbai makes them a strong company to work for. People who've previously acted stuck up and quit BT riding high on ''success'' have bitten the dust. E.g. Amar Upadhyay 1st Mihir of Kyunki, Iqbal Khan- who was just lost for years before he bagged Sangini (and even this one ain't going too far IMO)
Anyway, the gist of this is, I agree with you- HC will stick to Balaji
Now this part is based upon pure speculation...correct me if I'm wrong. Since I wasn't here doing all the gossip and issues...but wasn't there an incident with Additi and the Kis Desh team...hence the rumors and articles of Additi possibly getting axed (Heer's character dying during the time the Junejas were going to some religious event and the tornado hit taking Heer away?) It seems she was showing up late on set and Ekta had to pull her into her office and have a little chat.
Indeed, Additi was having issues and would have been axed if Prem's character was to live on. A friend of mine works for Balaji and he told me that Prem was supposed to die in the first couple of months but the storyline had to be changed because Additi was not such a great actor (if you remember, the audience's initial response was quite negative) the show was resting on HC's shoulder's and they had to keep him until this girl improved. It's said her behaviour and problems with acting got to the team's nerves and Ekta called her in only for a chat because Prem was about to die, you can't hope a show will survive if you chuck two leads out of it back to back
Well, my friend says Ekta's a second chance type of person. If you get called into the office and you straighten out you get to finish the show if not you get replaced. But the thing is if you have to have that chat in her office more than likely Ekta won't take you in another serial again. I guess she figures if I had to say it to you once there is a possibility you will act up again and I don't want to have to deal with it. (at least my friend has noticed out of all the actors who've been called into the office she has never seem them appear again in another Ekta serial)
Hmm, this bit is very interesting. I slightly disagree with your friend here. I think Ekta's not a second chance type of person, the only reason people who're called in for chats stay is because the actor is more popular than the character. For instance, you can't have Prem if you don't have HC. So if HC is creating problems, she'll call him for a chat, sort him out and then forget him after the show ends, like I said, she can hold a grudge for AGES!
But then I have a slightly strange theory...I've noticed a lot of Ekta's discoveries or actor/actresses that's been in the BT serials have messy teeth 🤣 and Ekta herself has dental issues...she's got that gap. Haha...so the theory goes people with messy teeth are good people...and Ekta likes these kids (Sushant aka Preet/Manav, Additi, Manoj aka first Harman...and there was this other guy on Bandini who's played a lots of bits parts for Ekta and he had messy teeth but recently he got them fixed...and there's probably more...I'm telling start paying attention.) 😆

So I have some hope that maybe Ekta will use Additi again. But she's waiting for the right serial and part? (plus Additi was seen at the Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani celebration party...that was just BT invites right? So if Ekta didn't like Additi why would she be there?)
Ekta doesn't dislike her, but she's definitely vary of her. I don't see her being casted again. About the invitation bit, a lot of people work on a show and unless you're branded as the bad kid (like Rajeev) Ekta won't get into the nitty gritty details of sorting the guest list. Someone might have invited her, may be the directors or Tabrez? (2nd Harman)
I think if Ekta were to cast Additi she would've done it by now, she's got so many serials coming up 😕 and Additi's doing more of a part time job in Sangini 😕
I think if everyone continues to let BT know there is a fan base who is willing to wait then who knows it may be possible. If KMH can have a season two, if a previous BT couple came back with another show, and StarPlus is re-running Kis Desh in the US again...I think anything is possible.
KMH's return was quite different. The fans started protesting big time BEFORE the show went off air. They even wrote to the CEO and organised a huge campaign to make sure the channel heard them. You wouldn't believe it but they even went to the extent of getting NGO's and other pressure groups to protest and file a case against a remake of Baby Borrowers that the channel had launched in place of KMH 😆 the channel was literally shaken to the core! Also a very important factor here is that the channel Imagine was previously part of the NDTV group. These guys sold it to Turner General Entertainment and the new management's heard the fans 😊
