Known for her 'stunning' looks, Deepika stunned everyone as she appeared all covered up from head to toe in a sari as she tied her hair back in two braids!

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Deepika Padukone's fans couldn't agree more with the saying as the actress' beauty lies in her 'plain' simplicity more than anything else.

Didn't we like Deepika more in the 'dignified yesteryear actress' avatar in Om Shanti Om than the glamorous westernized look she sported in second half of the film?

Those dimples, big eyes are attractive enough for this former model to make the men go weak in the knees. Her ample cleavage show in her recent release Housefull was something Deepika fans would want to forget.

At the recently held music launch of her forthcoming film 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey', Deepika sported a simple cotton sari and tied her hair back in two braids. The actress wore minimal makeup to go with her earthy attire and the most common reaction her look garnered was, "Isn't Deepika the most average looking stunner!"

The tall frame and slim body structure is what makes the girl a model material but the face radiates desi-charm.

Covered from top to bottom in a sari that wasn't transparent and in a blouse that wasn't noodle strapped or sexy, the actress still looked effortlessly attractive!

A lesser known actress once rightly said, "Deepika is photogenic. She is abnormally tall for being a Hindi film actress, doesn't possess Peaches and Cream Complexion, nor is she conventionally good looking. However the girl is a head-turner, thanks to her confident body language, erect posture and her refreshingly real 'no-pretence' quality in terms of her performance, look or accent!"
