I am really surprised Varsha, every week every time DM always says just two or three lines...the one mentioned above...how will the people know where the contestant lost his or her sur?..during Sonu Nigam's time the judges used to explained in detail..where the contestant lost the sur or where they were weak.....

SR bro U, I and BB ji kind a people are stuck in the time warp of Sonu Nigam as a host and judges as Khayyam, Naushad, PT. Jasraj, Shivkumar, Hariprasad, Anil Biswas, and many other legends...Now we are stuck with copy-paste ke zamaane ke logon se...Nothing original....less we say is better...

That was the golden time of SRGMP...we used wait eagerly wait for the show every week...Exactly now ther is no guidance and constructive feedback...even the audience must be feeling the same thing..I am wondering ever since the show has started...we are listening those same comments..when will we here that exactly where the sur was lost or where the high notes were weak?...atleast give that particular line where they failed....😕

Agreed....sometimes they seems busy talking with themselves rather than watching their chelas and chelis...sorry shishyas...😉😆once the song is over they try to make as short as possible their patented comments...i just mute the channel or change for a break...cos they dont have anything to say...

I also feel that the judges are following a certain pattern/ formula in their comments.

I think they are given some time to discuss whatever each one will say and they say. Its not spontaneous.

Do the comments influence the voting ?

What happened to the marks they were giving for some time ?

Once decision goes into the public hands the judges become very cautious.

They also realised that a cruel comment can break the spirit of a contestant.

So all in all. the mentoring period is long over, they just have to be tolerant and generally encouraging of all.

i miss the legendary judges during sonu's time of hosting! they explained in full detail everything. they said what parts were good and bad as well. i learned a lot about music myself too from them.

DM is one of the most boring and annoying mentor when it comes for giving comments..sometimes he just says..''Rab Raakha..''' arre then why you are sitting on seat of Judge when you cannot give any worhtwhile comment...
