Note: I don't support Bhauji's intentions towards avdesh.
Our society is biased towards men.Imagine a guy who got married just then and his wife died immediatly. Definitely he would re-married ( may be to his wife's sister..if there is any).
But the same thing is not done for women.
Agreed that since Avdesh to younger than bhauji and she only took care and hence maa-samman to him.
But if he is elder / atleast not that much younger ... Then also the society won't support!!
I pity bhauji's condition ... a 16yrs old girl to become a widow on the very first day of marriage - who has not experienced any happiness of married life.
Her loneliness (she has no one to console her soul) and the only person to show affection to her is Avdesh and hence she thought may be he'll marry her.....as she was not aware of his sentiments for her!
Now also than the physical need..it is insecurity that is causing her to do evil things and she will continue until she realises that avdesh's support will be for ever - for her!
