Your character Anwesha in the 2004 serial Remix on Star One became a youth icon. Where did you disappear after the show?
I did not disappear. In fact, I did eight shows including C.I.D and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii after Remix, but none of that magnitude. I am choosy about the shows I do. Also, the current TV scenario is more rural-based and I do not fit in there. I took a break for more than a year. I shot a six-minute film titled Lucky bas***d, worked in a play with Shekhar Suman called Da Dating Truth, travelled and bought a home in Mumbai.

What was so convincing about your character Misha in Ekta Kapoor's Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahani?
I only like doing shows that I can relate to. Misha is a fun and interesting character. She adds to the comic element of the show. She is a rich college-goer, who is a friend of the main lead.

Why did you agree to play second fiddle on this show?
I am not one of those people who would be insecure about playing the main lead or second lead. It's the character that matters, I am confident about myself and about making an impression.

Is the show based on the popular book and film series, Twilight?
I can't say anything. You will have to ask Ekta.

Your character Anwesha started a trend with red streaks in your hair. What's the look this season?
This character isn't like Anwesha at all. You can't compare the two looks. Misha is funky and cool, but not as experimental as Anwesha.

What's your personal style statement?
My clothing is very comfortable. I like simple, no-fuss cuts. I like denim and shorts and at times I wear dresses. I do not follow any trends — I wear what I like. No embroideries and no accessories for me.

Do you feel there is a dearth of youth-oriented shows on Indian television?
Unfortunately, yes. There are barely any youth-oriented shows and the ones that are on TV are very unrealistic and typical. I have grown up watching shows like Friends and had similar expectations from Indian television. I am more realistic now. Hopefully, Pyaar Kii will be able to bring about a change.

You are also a tennis player. Do you get time to practise your sport?
I wanted to become the next big tennis star, but acting happened by chance. Now, I hardly have any time to practise tennis because of my busy schedule. But I plan on playing again soon. Luckily in Remix I got to play cricket. Even in Pyaar Kii, I do a bit of horse riding, so I am not completely out of touch with sports.

If you ever have to choose between sports and acting, what would you choose?>
Sports, for sure.

Who just who cares if she is the lead or no huh ? lead no lead the point of the matter is that just a moment of her and the show would end up belonging to her☺️ and mind u am not syaing this all this coming form people who havent even seen Remix its their fiirst encounter with her magic and they were allllllllllllllllll in love at the very first sight itself☺️

and i guess thats all coz of her own khud ka self confidence and beliefshe knows what shes doing and shes sure of it bus aur kya chhaiye when we ourselves r damn sure na noone no dmaned one can fail to see what we doing or saying or projecting or whateverrrr dunno falling in love with her all over again just by reading that line by herrrrrrrrrrrrrr
what confidence what strength what belieeeeeeeeeeeeef☺️ and yup she is toooo secure a person to worry abt all that all she cares abt is doing what she can feel from within herrrrrrrr just following her heart and she knows she would rock it and she also knows she would rock bestest hardest only and only when she is following her heaaaaaaaaaaart omg she so needs to feel like reallly feel the Char naaaaaaaaa??? I gues she doesnt believes in "acting" rather its al abt feeling and living the char for her tab hi toh they all seem so damned dmaned realllllllllll☺️

and omg she rmemebers till date ki she played Cricket in Remiiiiiiiiiiiix???😲 sirf do baar kheli shayad and she rememebrs sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh☺️ she adores rmeix and ashi yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar he so so does first moment of Misha and i knew it i so kneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew it that she is just meant to be Ashish she so isss perhaps Priya khud hi aisy hai what perhaos she is Ashishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and i was liek in first moment of Misha there is no dmaned way ki she won take Remix if it ever comes back NO DMANED WAY coz u can seeee in Misha ka her moment her loooove for Ashiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii this is WHO SHE IS and more than that i was like theres no dmaned way SA can ever ever bring rmeix back without her she cant yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar and she cant even begin to think of u know someone else in Priya's shoes she cant its blasphemous and more than that like everybody be it Sa or Blaji or any damned produer they know they so know there is just one person in this whole wide huge tellyvision industry who can do aiseroles and thats HER they all know it yaaaaaaaaaaaaaar and all this is nothing but u know testimony of the indelible imprint meri Whack leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeft on every dmaned one☺️☺️ Baki conventional roles karne ke liye oth hazaron lakhon ki bheed padi hai yaar but aise roles pe only and only her name writtennnnnnnnn☺️

sigh..☺️...and hahahaha she so wld pick sports any dmaned day man🤣 acting just isnt her na until and unless she gets chars which she can LIVE which she can believe in which r part of her own faith jaise Ashi Mishhhhhhhhhhhh☺️ isliye m saying whatever happens we got to feel blessed ki PKYEK happened coz of it and only it we getitng to see her this close to Ashi and perhaps her own self too☺️ Damn Ekta i loooooooooooooove you🤗🤗🤗

lead or not a lead doesn't matter .....i'm not saying this as her fan...considering myself as one among the normal audience, all i can say is MIsha is the most entertaining n only worth watching character
