I want to do negative roles now : Subhangi Atre

Talented actress Subhangi Atre is getting good returns for her suberb acting in tv serial DO Hanso Ka Joda. Her career started three years ago with serial Kasauti Zindagi Ki and later she established herself on small screen with serial Kasturi. Recently I had a short meeting with and presented here the excerpts from that chat:

What was the experience of working with Rajshree ?
I am very lucky to get the opportunity to work with two big production houses, Balajee and Rajshree. I worked with Balajee in Kasauti Zindagi Ki, Kasturi, and now with Rajshree in Do Hanso Ka Joda. I feel priud to have worked with Rajshree. They do their job in an organised way. They had their backups long before the serial started on tv and so never had any problem or last minute rush. We never have to work for more than 12 hours in a day.
Tell us abbout your role in Do Hanso Ka Joda.
I am playing Preeti, a modern college girl likes to live independently as she does not like the traditional living of Vrindavan and keeps on shouting in the home against it. She has drawn a line. She is married to an ordinary boy who is not smart. She had another dream for her hubby after seeing lots of TV serials and films and so feel alien in her new home.
How was working with Shaleen ?
He is a good actor. He knows the screes chemistry very well. He is light hearted on the sets and always in happy mood. I am lucky to have such a good co-star. Apart from it Karan Patel had helped me a lot in Kasturi. There is always a wide gap between out real self and the characters we play. Therefore we have to work hard to make alive the character.
Do you feel small scree artists ger less time to adapt their roles ?
We have a choice to come in frot of the camera when we are natural for the role. Working for these three years have taught us many lessons. Earlier I was immature when I joined Kasauti. I spent my whole time learning the acting.
It is said that it is tough to work with Balajee ?
You are paid for the job! Balajee is my home like production house. Ekta taught me many things whether it was with compassion or with harsh words. I had to work there night and day, but that was my own choice! If someday I choose to be a producer I will do the same with my artists.
What will be your next step ?
I am tired of being a nice bahu and it seems I will get typed. Now I will like to do some negative role in my next serial. I would also like to test myself in films where I will get a chance to do different things.
Will you like to go in a reality show ?
I have learned Katthak dance so would like to participate in next show of Jhalak. Other reality shows have more chonchalebazi and wont be possible for me to do.
You are so busy. Don't you think you are missing something in your life ?
No. I dont believe in working 24hrs a day. I also like to give enough time to my husband and daughter.
