well, it helps me get into the mood in slower songs, and sometimes it helps me keep focused

Well , I dont consider Abhlasha a great singer but kamal & sugandha are very good singers. Sniti outshines all of them.

i also like kamal and sugandhha singing. they are my favourite.

Actually I decided not to listen any singer from this show, I can not bear to watch the show just for one or two singers, their good singing being overwhelmingly negated by mentors behavior. Till what I heard only Kamal Khan seems to be good in more than one genre rest are either one genre singer or over all average.
Abhilasha went down from SVOI, Sniti is very very good with classical singing or depressed song, Baba Rajwara is good in pretending to be a Ghazal singer, Fareed was very very good with classic classical singing(not good for these reality shows, kucch din aor rahe to apni classical singing bhool jayega)

I agree to this and he has memorised every act of a Ghazal singer. He is a good parrot. He even used his kung fu dancing step which he learnt while performing Bijuria when he sang Yun Hi Chala with Farid.

I thought the topic is about appreciating Sougandha's eyes 😳
Anyways, its a matter of habit nothing else..I always start singing with my eyes open but then I gradually close them, I dont know when through....It's nothing but habitual..But I feel I can concentrate more and the feel comes naturally with my eyes closed.

Oh God, I thought this thread is to say how beautiful her eyes are!! Oh boy!!! LOL...

Most singers close their eyes when they sing on stage when it comes to songs with great feel - so they can sing with the feel from their heart and concentrate on the orchestra... I have seen several Great Singers in India - both male and female, doing that.. They dont do that purposely, it just happens and they are not even aware of it I think... I dont have any problems with it... Have seen all the classical experts doing the same when they sing ragas with many highs and lows...
