Normally singers eyes automatically get closed when they change to a higher note or they attempt a difficult note. Have you noticed that Sugandha's eyes are closed from starting of the song to the finish. I think she concentrates too hard and tries to remember the original song's tune to reproduce it exactly as it is.
What do you think ?

Maybe the TV lights are too Bright. Perhaps someone on the set can clarify.
But it is hard to tell here, she sang very well.

I think she might be doing it help her get into the feel or something. I also have tendency to close my when I sing Hindi songs.

Here we go....After Sugandha...What does closing of eyes @ singing higer note or thru the whole song have anything to do with her singing itself...can't find anything else to phir closing eyes ko issue banao 😛
Tulipbabe I agree with you...
There are some songs which requires the singer to feel it all the way so they can emote it properly...

Jawab to aap de hi diya, to phir gussa kahe ko. musical phorum hai to singer ka har pahelu ka discussion to hoga hi.

Generally for sentimental songs a singer will close the eyes to get greater feel but for fast numbers the eyes should be wide open to make sure they do not fall or miss a step while jumping.

Every other singer is a zero except Sniti.....all of you please get this fact.
Sniti is perfect and the others are useless....
