As much as I agree with your sentiments, we may not have had the serial Uttaran then.

I notice a happy serial is not conducive to good TRP's.

Aditiji, I m naive when it comes 2 story telling and serial making and what all these TRPS means...but i personally feel these TRPs and stuff shud not have a bearing a good story....I know I see things slighlty differently TRPs as I have said longggg b4, they do not mean ppl r liking the show, I am sure there r many ppl unhappy watching the neg track, but may still watch in hope tht things may change... yaaa it mean TV sets r switched on and no one is watching....so Y depend on those meaningless numbers instead of conc on delivering a meaningful story...I can understand twists n turns are a must ....but I guess a decent story cud still b generated....

yes groucho
every serial needs a villain and tapasya is a villain here. is there anything wrong in saying that she is the villain?
and i agree with u otherwise we may not have had the serial.
but we dont want too much of evil winning. sometimes its nice to see goodness triumphing as well. can send wrong msg to the viewers otherwise.
As it is lot of damage is done.

If the channel and the CV's have any sense then they will end Uttaran with goodness winning over all but whatever message had to be sent is already in each household. Sometimes I wish the leap had not taken place.

It is easier to accept a child throwing a tantrum (although even there she left Ichcha alone in the forest) and get punished. But we are not the authors of this script we are just the viewers.😕

Absolutely spot on. TRP's are not a benchmark at all for a good serial as there is still no fool proof method of quantifying viewership.

Where have all the comedies, love stories, dramas gone??? I watch as many English serials and with all the talent we have, why are we are still so far behind.

Nobody minds twists and turns, surprises, some disappointments now and then but to promote so much negativity in the name of TRP's ------ I just sound repetitive so won't continue

I always feel sorry for Nani , she never provoked adult or teenage taps , taps dismissed her like a bug , Tap did every wrong doing on her own n more imp she hide many secretes from nani , so its pointless to blame nani , she never really had any hand in this , when they had leap taps was shown as bindas and careless person who had some soft corner for icha, and dismissed nani and nani never spoiled her brain much , my full sympathises for nani , just like Jogi , ppl need to put blame on both of them to show their Nautanki rani is pure sati savitri , my foot
