Today Farid sang Aafreen Aafreen.
Itna badhiya gaana milke agar nahi nibha sakta to kya matlab hai. Aafreen main sab hai apni gaayki dikhane ko
it seems he reads the lyrics without feel and in between take unnecessary alaaps to show his classical base.

my conscience forces me to agree that farid has not delivered what he showed us during the auditions.

I was so keen that he gets back, now i feel he should leave.😳

However much i support strong classical based singers, his singing embarasses me to a great extent.😳

Alaaps show the powress, it does not make a whole song.

it pains me to write more.😭

Same here musicmuse. I also feel so pained to admit this!
In the auditions remember how beautifully he delivered a bollywood song by elevating it to a completely different level??
Now he seems to sing with absolutely zero involvement and zero feel.
All the others too I feel.
There is absolutely no magic this time around. Sad but true

its show a blunder mistake on the part of judges and creatives in selection and elimination of contestants may be some pressure or favouritism. from the beginning their versatility should be checked. on the basis of one or two songs they should not be selected or eliminated??? its sincere advice.

its good to agree sometime at some point. rini was not self taught. she learned classical singing for three years from her guruji sardarji devender hundal at vancouver.

Let me also compare...Mampi Nair with tremendous potential and voice quality lost out just because of blunders by creative team and so called mentors.

its my presumption that fareed was given so much publicity that he is a very big classical singer but what we got after seeing four performances this week and last week : khoda pahar nikla chuha!!!!!!!!! gol matol😆
