First, here's wishing the lead pair a good recovery and rest before they get back to the show, their jobs.
Then I think, given the way shows are shot and what the producer and creative team have to deal with if not just the main lead but 2 main actors fall ill, is quite amazing! As fans we can support the show and they have come up with a plausible story line till they can get all their actors back.
It's great that we see Maan questioning Geet's disappearance and realizing how she tried to talk to him that morning. I feel Maan is very intuitive regarding Geet and the CV's can use that fact and so Maan can piece together what Geet's problems must be that made her leave. Hope they have him recall also her past in Hoshiarpur and all the clues when they kept running into each other.
For instance: She wanted the agent's no. from him yet once she signed the land papers she did not want it. That was after he had found her in the field looking totally bereft and traumatized. Then she almost gets run over. SO he should investigate the land sale for sure as it will lead to Dev. He should still have that agents no.
Her family: Maan could contact her family indirectly through Munshi and somehow the name Dev should be revealed from them.
And then maan must recall how she told him on the engagement day "He was here!! DEV!! " and he had just assumed she met his brother. But if he recalls her expressions and what her eyes were saying he will realize she meant the person who ruined her life not Dev as in your brother!!
So, CV's can easily bring the 2 back together ( when they are well) and I would prefer Maan discovering the facts on his own and Geet not having to confess.
He should then just come to find her ( most probably with Meera) and tell her
"no more running..I want you in my life today and forever, and I know all about your past and we can face it together! You are my bride and I will not lose you or let you run away!!
