Can I just point out one thing ladies?
In my own experience I can categorically confirm that I am aware of educated professional women that have not only suffered DV but also put up with it. Academic education will not necessarily alleviate women being beaten.
Sometimes it is that very education that is the cause, whether the beating is being done by some nasty MIL or by a violent partner for a woman to suffer DV and yes. like a lot of other women she may put up with it despite having all the knowledge to know she doesnt have to.
It is all about inner strength - knowing that point at which you just cant take any more, the point you have reached rock bottom and know the only way from here on is up.
One stand, just one stand taken against a bully will lead to an increase in self confidence day by day to be able to build and know you are not going to put up with any more crap.
Do you think the likes of komal would ever take a beating? I somehow dont think so - but that is because she is already a strong minded individual and has never had to compromise in any way so far in life and isnt about to now. It's about attitude.
But to get back to the track, I would love to see Kesar get strong more than I want to see Pratigya do anything. Pratigya can only do so much - the rest must be down to Kesar and it would be good and heartwarming to watch if they show Kesar in the lead for a change and rise up against these people
Peace!
