NOTE: THIS IS MUST FIRST THREAD AS IF-ROCKERZ.👍🏼👏
In celebration, here is yet another LENGTHY weekend post.😃 😉
Gabrao muth, please read on.........even if done in installments.😃😆
The young always have the same problem - how to rebel and conform at the same time. They have now solved this by defying their parents and copying one another. ~Quentin Crisp
Aman watches the teen for a moment before he speaks up. "Jai where are you going this late? You have car keys in your hands." Jai, Aman's little bro fumbles "Just going to get the CD from the car. Really! You doubt your little brother? I am Police Commissioner's son so I cant' avoid being public scrutiny, I have learned this much from you". Aman tells his little bro in a satisfied tone "Okay you seem to understand, go get your cds from the car then get to bed, it's already late night. Good boy! Uh oh! Does that mean the truth about the accident is going to change Aman's mind about him? With that he heads inside the house. Jai kicks his heels to the ground in frustration. Konu fayda nahi, bachchu. No party tonight. You've been busted, dude! So turn in and call it a night.🥱

Prats enters kitchen opens dishes after dishes, looks like they are all empty vessels. Amma taunts "what are you looking for, you'll find nothing here. Starting today, you have to make the food for you and your man, if you want to eat you have to make the food or just go hungry"😲. What? Takurain, you refuse to feed your own son and that too without warning? You remember the times you asked him to eat, he refused and you were hurt. Why the sudden turn? Sending your son to bed early will not punish Prats. It will hurt you more whether you will admit to it or not.
When you have brought up kids, there are memories you store directly in your tear ducts. ~Robert Brault
Krishna walks in behind his mother "Hey Amma, what are you saying, you want your child to go to bed hungry😲😕? Will you feel good if your Baba goes to bed hungry like this😲? I remember when I was a child I'd come home tired after playing and go to sleep hungry🥱. You'd come and wake me up in the middle of the night, feed me and tell me "eat baba or the stomach will curse you, aren't you that mother of mine. Eh? If I had been in Adarsh's place would you have still do this😲?" Taurain's eyes wells up with tears reminded by her son of his childhood memories of her as a loving mother. Krishna had put a chink in her armor using his love, the most powerful weapon that heals the hurt and everything else. 😃
Don't worry that children never listen to you; worry that they are always watching you. ~Robert Fulghum
"My dear Amma, why are you wasting your time with rootna-manana?😕 If something happened to me tomorrow you will regret it for the rest of your life". Takurain cut in "Why are you saying such inauspicious things about yourself. God should take me first instead of you😭. My baba's life has a full life ahead of him, if you say something like this again, I'll hit you😡. Yet another chink in that armor she has around her heart? Just when we thought she was irredeemable, we see a little spark of light shining through.
It's never what people do that make us angry; it's what we tell ourselves about what they did - Marshall Rosenberg
Piasisya walks in and tells Amma that she is tired of going back and forth to the hospital. "The Saxsenas returned the food sent to the hospital. You made it with so much love, it's no used those people just don't care about you." The trouble making maid has done her part to fan the flames of hatred just after Krishna sheds light on her better nature. Takurain has been given some fresh ammunition and another chance to taunt and hurt Prats's feelings."What care and respect will they give me, all they know is to humiliate, they are all the same, an act and hypocrisy." She turned to Krishna "Are they fit to be our relatives? My head is exploding just thinking I have to put up with her (Prats) for a lifetime. They returned the food." Acid dripping off her tongue she storms out of the kitchen and Krishna calls out to her.
Anger as soon as fed is dead --'tis starving makes it fat - Emily Dickinson
Krishna turned to a ealthy looking Piasiya "Ka bey? Even after getting a shot of that high voltage current your brain doesn't seem to work That's a good one-liner Baba! 😆😆😆😆. When will your habit of lighting a fire ever stop?" Piasiya shrugged it off and left the kitchen. Piasiya, you can't refute the truth in his statement. You know which side her bread is buttered on. Krishna sighs and looks at Prats, there has been a chink in his armor. Is it time for some reflective thinking? Yep! Are the two lovebirds beginning to realize their free meal ticket is going to cost a few dollars a day even in his bauji's house? Maybe. The rules have changed. And here the Takurs taught they were stuck in their ways and weren't going to budge an inch. That's the beauty of change, it lifts you up in the air and you just when you feel like you have landed, you are no longer in the same spot. Changing is living. Krishna baba, change is coming! Be ready for the ride of your life, dude! Change happens, one can take it in stride and go with the flow or get sent there kicking and screaming. The only choice you have left is how you get there.
You cannot tailor-make the situations in life, but you can tailor-make the attitudes to fit those situations~ Zig Ziglar
Krishna wakes up in the middle of the night to find Prats sitting at the foot of the bed sewing, her mind preoccupied with concerns. "White tailor😲😆, come here and go to sleep." Prats replies "I can't sleep so I thought I'll get the rest of the work done. You go to sleep." Krishna isn't telling it go. "Ok, tell why are you worried? What's on our mind that you can't forget? First come sit near me and tell me what's worrying you." Seems Prats is his teddy bear these days!😉 Can't get some shut eye without Babu by his side.😛 Prats tells him "I am thinking of Papa and how he'll manage all the expenses for Adarsh not to mention Arushi's upcoming wedding. Don't know how he'll do it all by himself. I always wanted to help Papa but now…….. Krishna interrupted "That's it? What's the big deal? Why are you worrying? You tell me and I'll give the money and help my sasurji". Baba you are either very nave or clueless about how these things work. Do you really think the proud Papa will take a handout from your bauji. Or will your bauji part with his money for a man he believes has just humiliated him at the hospital. Your bauji did offer to help but her Papa had tossed it back at him with a "no, thank you" note attached to it.

Your greatest asset is your earning ability, your greatest resource is your time – Brian Tracy
Prats is curious "You'll help me but how?" Krishna chimes in "I'll get it from bauji😲." Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, you are really that naive. You may soon not get your allowance from your bauji the way things are going, let alone a chunk of change for your adariya sasurji. They both have their prides and will refuse to give or receive it. Prats responds "No Krishna, there is a big difference". Krishna wants to know "Tell me why you are refusing my help." Prats patiently replies "I'll take your help, for sure, but the day you work and earn your own money, that day I will accept your help". There's another chink in his armor again today. "You always put a lot of conditions and I get humiliated. Go get whomever's help you want". He turns on his side and lays his head on the pillow. Prats sees her condition doesn't seem palatable to him at the moment, but she is also pleased by his reaction to it😊. She has planted the seed and now she just has to wait for it to take root, and grow into a tree ready to bear fruit. She turns off the light and lays her head on her pillow her back to him. Wondering why Prats wasn't trying to manao him, Krishna turns around and asks her "tell me, sometimes when I get angry why don't you try to manao me and make things right? Tell me😕? I'm just yapping away here, are you listening? When Prats doesn't respond he leans over her and sees her grinning😃. "You are trying to make a fool out of me" he teased and drew her closer, as she squealed in delight😳.

Komal arrives and stares daggers at the nurse checking up on Adarsh's vital signs. She hands over the breakfast tray to the nurse saying that Adarsh was going to eat the healthy food she has brought for him. She argues with the nurse about knowing what was best for her husband to recuperate faster. Nainaji arrives and tries to explain that Adarsh needs a lighter diet to heal faster. Just then Takurain comes in and tells Adarsh that his accident had worried them much. Why is it about you even now,Takurain? Adarsh didn't sit on his bike waiting for someone to come and run into him. Why the theatrics? "By God's grace you are well now I'm relieved bec' my daughter was getting sick crying her heart out." Well, isn't that interesting Takurain! You are concerned about your damadh's well being for your daughter's sake of your happiness but not about his sister, who is also your bahu for the sake of your son's happiness? What a warped and illogical mind you have Takurain! You are simply amazing!😲
Prats is dressing Krishna up buttoning his shirt and folding his collar down. Krishna is busy undoing her efforts. Prats chides him to stop with his childish antics. When she moves away Krishna pulls her into his arms and cozies up to her. Kesar walks in and quickly turns away blushing after seeing Krishna hugging Prats.😳 Prats is squirming in Krishna's embrace😲. Kesar inquires about Adarsh and makes a hasty retreat a smile on her face😃. You golden heart girl, you rejoice in the love and happiness of others that which has always been denied you. That is a sign of great soul.👏 Prats scolds Krishna for being a 'badmaash". Krishna reminds her "I'm your husband, don't scold me" then makes a hasty getaway "don't bother me, I have a lot of work". Pray, do tell, oh, young Prince of Allahabad! Where exactly do you work? You hang out with your friends Tunna/Chandu and even they have been MIA recently. Are you a volunteer somewhere unbeknownst to your family and in particular your wife? After today you better think about bringing in some hard cash home. Your Amma may change her mind and demand payment for a seat at the dining table once again in your bauji's house. Takurain has already given Prats the ultimatum, she may feed you out of guilt after you reminded her of her good matari past, but Prats may end up on a forced "vrath". As you told her not to long ago, she can't stand hunger so what are you going to do? Get carry out for your beebi for her three meals everyday. Your beebi won't eat food you didn't pay for. So you see, you are in a no-win situation. So now put on that thinking cap of yours and figure out how you are going to earn your and your wife's keep in that house. You can avoid some of those punches your parents have been throwing at you recently. BTW, Prats why did it take you take so long to realize Baba can't be a house husband with no source of income with a wife that his parents are willing to support. You needed a bodyguard in that junglee environment in the early days of marriage. Achcha chalo, it's never too late to make a change.

Takurain, honey dripping off her tongue tells Komal "always serve your husband like this" and leaves. Nainaji decides to play hospitable host and offers to walk Takurain out. She tells Takurain "Komal is very loving has become part of the family and it doesn't feel like she came from another family at all". Little did Nainaji know that she had just stuck her hand into a beehive. Takurain lamented "Look at my kismet, my daughter goes to her sasural and becomes one of them. But my bahu has to this day treated us like outsiders. Think about it, your daughter made full plans to send her saas and jate to jail for life. What enmity does she have with us, what she is doing is not right, you understand, right?" Takurain, I guess you haven't heard it said "you do the crime, you do the time". Are you for real lady? However dull they may be Saxes, they have treated an bratty Komal as well as you have treated a respectful Prats poorly. You have hatred coming out of your pores these days and you refuse to see anything beyond the tip of your nose.Grrrrrrrr😕😡
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others- Unknown
Shamu after talking to a hospital staff overhears the conversation. Takurain tells Nainaji "some girls who want to keep their family together they don't want to cause harm to their sasural." Nainaji gets it " I know what you are trying to say but I don't think Pratigya did anything that is wrong for her family. If you still feel she has done something wrong, I am asking you for forgiveness on her behalf." Takurain insults Nainaji and asks "why she is pretending to ask for forgiveness. Which mistake do I forgive her (Prats) for? As a mother you should teach your children right from wrong so she can live her life happily". Nainaji exposes her leaky tear ducts to Takurain, who takes great pleasure in telling others what she needs to learn herself first. Nainaji makes a hasty retreat back to Adarsh's room. Yo Takurain, so you don't want to hear those words that sends a buzz in your brain….. jail or court katcheri. Okie dokie! Let's do it your ishstyle…… let's get the village people in your neighborhood for a panchayati meeting and have Kesar tell everyone openly what a wonderful example of a mother-in-law you have been to her all these years. Let's make sure she doesn't leave out any details esp. of a very recent incident that has you climbing the walls in fear looking over your shoulder anytime you hear the world jail, police, court katcheri comes up. Good news is there is still a conscience in you😊. You gave us a quick glimpse of it in your kitchen a few hours ago with Krishna.

Shamu stops Takurain and decides it's time to give Takurain a piece of his mind. She turns haughty hate filled eyes at him. Prof. was in no mood to get her get away scot-free today "What were you telling my wife about my beti? Just listing all the things she's been doing? So you probably didn't tell my wife how you people face-painted me and my daughter at your house with coal? You didn't think you had to share that? At least you have to say something in your praise? Kudos to you for that lallantop barbed zinger! Prof. "What ever it is, you must remember one thing. My daughter can never be wrong. Hmmm! That a stretch Prof. Prats has been wrong in the way she treated Krishna in the early months of their marriage and her silence when Krishna gently brought them to her attention during his talk about trust attests to that. Ok, Prof. please continue "You are in the wrong, with the wrong attitude and so everything she does appears wrong to you bec' she doesn't go along with your ways of handling things. You remember how you coal face painted me and my daughter?" If you balance all her mistakes vs. this act of yours, it tips heavily on your side. You will get your turn to taste the pudding soon enough. Translated: what goes around comes around. Boy, this seems to be what the Takurs need to learn and very fast before they get buried in all their harkatheins. Was that a flicker of fear that flashed in the Takurain's eyes for just a moment? Amma glances hatefully at the Prof. and walks away her head held high. What is it they say? "Pride comes before a fall". Yep, that's it.
