Is it time to bid goodbye to Bidaai!

And now serials that are doing well too are getting axed in a bid to start newer shows to boost gross rating points (GRPs). There's buzz that the three- year-old Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai will go off air next month and the channel's looking to replace it with a new show in the prime-time slot. The serial actors are hoping there's no truth to the buzz.
Parul Chauhan, who plays Ragini, said, "I have heard these rumours, but the cast hasn't received any formal notice regarding the show going off air." She added, "Our show has always received good TRPs, so I don't see why it should be shut. Usually when a serial ends, the production company notifies the cast and crew a month in advance, and this hasn't happened in our case. So we guess somebody is spreading these rumours.
