😆We all hated Brij the moment he hit TV Screens-aka first episode of Geet, where he mercilessly commited a honor killing and had the daring to so much as step out and live life as a man not guilty. With talwars instead of girlfriends, a gang of sidekicks and a chauvinistic attitude, this was one guy who made our blood boil.
And yet, even though he's gone, he's still a hot topic. Despite all he did to make Geet's life hell, we have Brij-Maan fanfics, Brij-Dev fanfics(by me. 😛), and Brij-Sasha fanfics. 😉 Someone unacquainted to the serial would think he's still there-and rocking.
Here's a list of reasons why we should like Brij
The way he says OYEEEE: The trademark welcome of angry young men. 😆 I think Maan was inspired by him. 😆
His talwars: Instead of knives and AK-47's, it's the era of the talwars in Geet-speak.
Okay..to get serious, you know why we should say thank you to Brij?
Because Brij was a catalyst for many events...
: He tortured Dev a lot. 😉😆
: He brought Maan into Geet's life
:He made Maan save her life
:He created first ever Maaneet embrace(please mujhe bachao...😉)
: His cronies helped Geet to finally take Maan's name without 'Sir' attached. 😆
: He made Geet a strong girl who was ready to take on her family. (Agreed, Maan influenced her, but the anger came from somewhere else altogether-from an expert in the field. 😆)
:He made Geet realise importance of Junior Khurana. 😉 through is kill the baby lectures...mistakenly doing reverse psychology anyone? 😆
To put it short, he did everything possible to trouble Geet, but rather than defeating her, he actually helped her to become the chulbuli Maan-loving Geet she is today.
So leave some applauds for our OYEEEE man
