Dhadaam se Landing everywhere, no room for standing anywhere.....

A spoof....
Ok..as most of us were so seriously angry or confused with that landing on Friday and my name for the epi was EGREGIOUS BED LANDING episode...so here's one for the Landing....

Geet had moved away then, leaving Maan standing by the window. She had proceeded to flop down on the bed and turned her head away. He stood there confused as to what she expected him to do now and then against his better judgement decided to join her on the bed. He tried to comfort her by holding her hand, letting her know it was all going to be alright - she was not at fault, it happens to all 18 year olds.

He then moved up to her face to look into her eyes, but she seemed to have gone to sleep or maybe had become unconsicous because of the harsh landing and so, he moved away to give her room to breathe.....

nice one....it was rather a crude gesture from geet considering the type of person maan is...it must hv been quite embarrassing on his part...he wud hv run away then and there....but just to cover up her crudeness he lied down beside her before actually running away...

OMG,😆 nice, very very nice..A good hillarious post...But on a serious note, geet's sudden fall on the bed was not out of the blue..It was a well planned move by her.. Read-on to find out...

Pls ahve a bit of patience to read the first part, only after that u'll understand my POV for geet's action in the latter half of the post..

My Views regarding the Controversial Fake engagement Fiasco...

After watching the epi again, i felt that geet was maha pissed-off that Maan was bossing her around...All her life, geet has been bossed around by others..Today the man she loved was bossing her around n was trying to curb her independence was wat that got geet ticked off...Geet does not know y maan was dolling her up...Once pissed, Ms.Hoshiyaarpur Express ki gadi full speed mein chalti hain aur finally accident ke baad hi rukti hain... The same happened today... She was pushing his buttons bcoz he had done that to her..I understand that she needs to be spoon fed every time..She wanted a private conformation from maan..Lets not forget that the wounds inflicted by Dev have been healed by maan but the scars r still visible.. She wanted conformation that watever maan told Mr Rawal's family was bcoz he really meant them n to fend them for getting geet married to Bunty..

So i guess she used the word Fake Engagement coz she wanted maan to confirm his feelings..Since the self talks of Geet from the station to outhouse were chopped off we actually never came to know what Geet thought after he proposed her at the station..Had she been shown questioning the authenticity of the engagement at that time, her calling it fake would have made more sense.... Here lies the missing link....

Geet knows that atleast from the past few days that whenever Maan is annoyed with her, his deepest feelings regarding her surface.. So maybe she called it fake wantedly for him to react n tell wat is in his heart..
Also the CV's (dono which since there r 2 of them) decided to get geet mouth the word Fake so that

1) It clears all doubts of geet regarding the authenticity of the engagement.
2) It paved the path for Maan to prove geet that the engagement is real by geting intimate with her. Fake dialogue will instigate Maan to prove to Geet that the engagement is real and for that he needed to submit himself to her completely or partially.....
3) For maan to get intimate with geet...

But none of the above stated reasons justify her calling the engagement Fake. There were better ways to do that... Like

1) Clearing the air regarding the engagement:
Geet could have asked him y was he so worked up or jealous if she was being married off to Bunty, she is still not engaged to any one n nor has any1 proposed marriage....or something like that....This would have been enough to get ma munda's grey cells working...

2)Regarding the real engagement:
Dadima deciding a public engagement would have been sufficient....She already wants geet to be formally introduced to their social circle, n wat better way to do it????

3)For maan to get intimate with geet:
This is not the first time maan was touchy-touchy with geet..It all started from Kurba-Hua itself... Wat bout the Pee-Loo seq.. Maan kissed her thrice that time.. Maneet were in a hill station, cold n wet... Maan just witnessed geet changing her cloths.. Maneet r 2 very handsome n passionate personalities.. They r all alone in a house while it is snowing heavily outside. Maneet r 2 young ppl whose hormones r raging inside them..
R all these reasons not enough for them to get intimate????

Ppl might want to know y geet submitted herself to maan if even now insecure after all that maan did.. Here is my POV... Pls comment..I wanna hear ur views regarding this..

Maan has already clarified to her that her past does not affect him, n she belives him...Right now the thing that is causing all the problems is that its geet's own past that is affecting her... Geet's insecurities r due to her own past.. Here is my explanation...........

1) During the bench Scene, Geet was not upset becoz of MSK's behaviour at the market... She was upset coz Maan told her he knew how to live alone, so she can go marry bunty...She was confused that one day Maan tells her that his life is incomplete without her n today (after her past is out), he tells her he can live alone... It means that my past has affected my position in his life, if not completely but a part of it... Today he can live without me...

The most important cause of her insecurity is her sexual status..
2) I agree with Jyo that geet is extremely insecure when it comes to physical intimacy b/w them. Lets not forget that she is from a village..She was taught from childhood that Virginity is the biggest Virtue of a Girl... The biggest Gift that a Girl can present her Husband is her Virginity... In geet's case she has lost it... Wat else can she gift Maan???? So Geet is extremely insecure, n i understand that... Her confidence has been blown to smithereens in the past by her family n more importantly Dev, so it needs time to build- up again...

My ans is that she is not in ambiguity regarding the engagement, she is in ambiguity regarding her capabilities to sexually satisfy Maan..
Lets not forget that this is geet, that geet who gets all conscious n embarrassed every time her dupatta is not around her..Even today when she saw maan staring at her while she was removing her dupatta, she got all conscious n out it back... So when she readily submitted herself to maan she was trying to gauge the intensity of maan's desire for her... Maan has caressed her n kissed her the previous time when he was expecting her to confess.. Now after her truth is out, she was checking if she still had that allure to ignite maan's desire... Bcoz of her beauty n allure she lost her innocence on similar nite..She understands the .She was trying to conform if the same would happen tonight or not...She is madly in love n informally engaged to maan... For her his happiness is wat that matters the most, So today she submitted herself to maan coz she desperately wanted to c if she is capable enough to satisfying his physical needs...

very well explained....i agree with this part of urs....maan who has said before that his life is incomplete widout her is now saying that he can live widout her....these contradictory statements r enuf to put doubts in geet's mind about the engagement being real or fake...
that the engagement is real both know from the bottom of their hearts and if tomorrow one of them backs out the other one will be hurt and shocked....at that noone will consider the engagement as fake....
but i think i hv my own POV regarding maan's statement...it was uttered because of bruised ego....he cud see that geet is pissed off because he bossed her around in the market....but in maan's POV he was only asserting his love on her by proving that geet belongs to her and therefore noone else has the right to ogle her....wen Mr. rawal tried to engage her with bunty...maan in his full MSK avatar came forward and declared to everyone that geet is MAAN KI GEET...he wanted to make it very clear that geet is not single....
but later on wen geet expressed her anger over his attitude...he felt hurt and he was like "I was doing this to prove that u r mine and noone else can claim any right on u...i was protecting u all the way and u take my gestures in the wrong way...so be it....u go and marry bunty and i can live widout a girl who considers my loving gestures as bossgiri"

as for geet's sexual status....i agree with every word of urs....maan showed a lot of restraint because...1) geet's uncertain feeling regarding the engagement....2) maan's novelty does not allow him to become intimate with the girl he loves so much until she is absolutely ready for it....

i just watched the first portion of friday's epi once again...and maan actually DID NOT say that he can live widout geet....his exact words were "mein apne zindagi me akalay jeena janta hoon"...which means he has always been a loner till geet came into his life...
which means he actually cannot live widout geet...
which means he knows how to live life alone but that life wud be without laughter and joy....life widout colours....arrogant, unsocial life....
which means he wud breathe, drink, eat, sleep....but he wud be an emotionless person as he was before meeting geet....

which means he wud be body widout soul because his soul belongs to geet now....

EUREKA....now that i hv analysed it i can breathe easy 😃

I completely understand n sympathize with geet's dilemma n insecurities... Wat am saying is that the execution of all this was PATHETIC..For this i blame the channel 70% n Nissar 30%.. Yep Nissar too cause he was the one who made geet mouth the fake engagement thing....If she had said that in anger then the remorse could have been shown??? I really failed to understand y maan was made to remorse...It was not at all his fault any where... am soo pissed off with Doodle's Noodle for this.... Wow Swati what a lovely analysis. I am sorry I could not reply earlier as am sort of sick and still woozy even now, so I do not know how much pointwise I shall be able to reply to you..but my main aim for this spoof was:

I was really angry for over 2 days with how the execution of this much awaited scene was done. I have no questions about why Geet submitted herself and then pulled away - For me it felt like she was giving in to her feelings for Maan but then her past experience with Dev pulls her back. When Maan asked her the all important - Jhoot se alag nahi - she pulled away because she was self-analysing - her reactions to Maan and their proximity. As far as her comment about Fake engagement was concerned - to me it felt like it was said more to rile him up, as happens in a lover's tiff. I know they have not declared their love verbally but she knows that she has that right over him else why would she talk to him and behave with him the way she does. Maybe its her need to goad him into verbalising and confirming what he told everyone else.

Anyway, this spoof was neither a comment on the actors nor the characters..it was purely a vent on the execution.
