My Take- Sept 24

Nissar, I liked the first two minutes of the episode that also as I tried to understand from Geet's perspective but there were many glitches which I mention later.

....let me go by dialogues as why I like it!

Who is to be blamed for their fight, Geet or Maan?

As I mentioned yesterday "possessiveness is not healthy for relationship and it is considered a mental abuse " .The way Maan pulled her from the crowd and it was very proper for Geet of ask why? As Geet has totally different personality than Maan. She is people's person so it is very embarrassing to her. So Maan is so possessive in love but for Geet it is causing embarrassment and tension. So we have to understand their differences in their personalities...

Maan is right? He being in intense love is making him to go crazy for Geet , this is making him go possessive for the same individual. The way Manali uncle & his town people showers praises on her is not tolerable to Maan. For Geet things are actually completely different to how she is perceiving them.

I can say Maan is suffering from "Borderline personality disorder " which has a strong fear of being abandoned by others in relationships.. This situation results in a self-fulfilling prophecy in which they fear the person leaving them, so they engage in many extreme and confusing behaviors of over-possessiveness.

Then when she protest for his behavior Maan says "Kahi mei Bunty or Babbli key bich mey to nahi aya"

That was not the thing to be said to someone you love and when he knew Geet had somebody in her past. It was MSK's insecurity which is making him possessive enough to say that but for Geet it was like accusation, one minute he tells the world she is only hers and then next minute he tells her maybe he is coming in between that dumb and his love so if you are in Geet's shoes what do you say, aren't you confused?

To make the matter worse
Maan says " Khahi tum Shaadi karna to nahi chaati" so again his insecurity speaking....that dialogue is really insulting and esp. to someone whom you just confessed your love. How can a person even think of marrying his fiance to someone who just happen to like her. It made Geet mad and she reciprocated.

Geet "Yesai hi to mai Jhooti hi mangateer hu, hum ye natak kar rahey hai", I liked it, if Maan could say such disrespectful thing that she gave a good answer, tit for tat.. she knows he loves her but wanted to irritate him. Again back to Geet's personality...remember all the time when Maan said something rude she always answered back in same manner. So it was character consistency.

Then Maan gets mad for that word "Natak"
Geet "ha ye saab aap apne liye kar rahe hai" that is so true whatever he did at Manali in front of the crowd was for him as he was insecure and jealous.

Geet "Chotte bacchey ki tara behave kar rahey..remote gadi" - Damn right girl, yes he was treating her like a puppet. We like MSK that does not mean we go blind...possessiveness is difficult to digest, put yourself in Geet's shoes. .. .would you have liked if someone treats you like that in Public?? my answer is NO...

Have you watched "Sleeping with the enemy" so if Geet doesn't stop him today and make him realize that. Maan might slowly develop "Possessive Personality Disorder". Geet has a strong character and she always opposed what she felt was incorrect so she was trying to tell Maan the same. So right of Geet to do that, Nissar I liked it!

Then he gets angry and goes over the top "Tum jake Bunty ka saath magni kar lo, nahi saddi kar lo" we know MSK's character and we like him but for Geet coming from her Bhagwan's mouth that really hurt! So do you think it was fair of Maan to treat her and say those hurtful words to her???

Then he says "Mai apni zindagi mei akeal jina jhata hu" so Maan needs anger management class here. He needs to control his anger, once Daddi told Maan that the needs to change for Geet! Then Maan walks out hurt and Geet too.

Then comes fake snow ...Geet hurt and refused valid ..he carries her !MSK back in action. So first two minutes were justified at least for me.

Mr. Barry Dhillon -liked Maan's dialogue "Nahi to mai pahanadugna" what authority he shows…good one!

Nissar ….After that some stupid scenes..

1. Fake snow— the way it was snowing reminded me of last year's blizzard(why asked for snow in summer.. we didn't whose idea?)
2. Whose house, bed & fireplace ready for the couple- people in Manali are so generous?
3. Whole Manali was wearing winter clothes so why our leads on summer mood (maybe the hotness of each other?)
4. Window was open in that weather (to jump out if house owner comes back?)
5. Geet get wet and Maan's shirt is not wet.. (his mini suit is like raincoat)?
6. Geet gets a wrap around…(Maan must have bought it as a gift)??
7. How come his tight mini sleeve shirt became full sleeve?(Zadoo..)
8. Confusing scene between real & fantasy (but glad at least she fantasize about him.. normal behavior)

I can understand Geet fighting between her desires and her past, for Geet getting physically involved is bit difficult. We have to understand the culture she comes from and her traumatic sexual experience with Dev. We could clearly see how she was trying to fight with those two feelings.

Don't expect to jump in each other(both are not having sex for the first time and carry traumatic experience with their ex-partners) when they still have some issues to deal lets give time. She is completely not turning into "touch me not" flower.

So remember for union of souls has to happen first then consummation.

Maan's closing dialogue "kya ye nazdiikiyan...tumhare liye jhooth si lag rahi hain.." loved it ..made it clear to Geet his feelings & his love!

So make sure you show their "nazdiikiyan" better and more real…I believe they can perform that scene better! Nissar do not goof up!
